Still, the high-energy instructors do an amazing job of keeping everyone motivated and moving safely.
A fabulous class
Such a great studio! Popped in on a weekend visit to Phoenix and had a fabulous class with Emma. The space is clean and beautiful. Vibe is warm and energetic. And the yoga was an amazing start to the day. Definitely stop by and sweat a bit. You’ll be so glad.

The yoga instructors are all wonderful
I love this place! I’ve been taking classes here for as least 6 months and it has drastically improved my everyday mood. The instructors are so nice and I love having three different forms of exercise to choose from. The yoga instructors are all wonderful . I’m not great at yoga but I feel like I keep up with the flow of their classes. Monique is an amazing spin instructor and her energy is infectious.Lisa’s Monday Barre class is fun and challenging. Metta Yoga is a local favorite that nails the balance between traditional practices and modern fitness. This studio impressively offers a broad selection of yoga styles, including Vinyasa, Yin, restorative, hot yoga, and even aerial options.
The many class formats can give beginners the right starting point, so it’s perfect if you’re on the hunt for a new fitness routine. Having two distinct Phoenix locations also provides fantastic scheduling flexibility for busy professionals on the move.
But the downside comes when navigating their schedule, as it requires a bit of pre-planning. That being said, the inclusive space is a wonderful sanctuary for deep stretching, as they focus heavily on physical mindfulness.
I found the class to be relaxing and beneficial
Metta Yoga is a very welcoming studio. I found the class to be relaxing and beneficial. Marci, the instructor was able to make adaptions to accommodate all levels of abilities to facilitate full participation. Wonderful experience.

Quality yoga experiences + welcoming space
Metta Yoga is a standout studio in Phoenix for those seeking quality yoga experiences + welcoming space. The variety of class styles, from strong flow to deep stretch, aerial, and restorative gong classes, means there’s something for all levels. The studio environment feels clean, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed, which makes it easy to get into your practice without distraction. The quality of instruction is excellent, and the vibe leans more healing + community-oriented rather than just fitness. - Sunday 9:00-11:30 AM
Established back in 2016 as the first and original aerial yoga studio in the city, Elevate Yoga & Wellness is a downtown hub that specializes primarily in hammock-style fabric sessions.
They stand out at making inversions accessible to everyone by welcoming students of all ability levels into a safe space. To boot, introductory deals are open for new students.
A close friend of ours who goes weekly mentioned that the specialty sessions emphasize foundational movements, so advanced aerialists might find fewer opportunities for complex skills.
Plus, the instruction involves quite a bit of verbal commentary, which might distract you if you prefer silent meditation. But the welcoming atmosphere and introductory class deals make it a stellar spot to try something completely new.
They have the perfect class for you!
Elevate is the best studio! I have been going here for almost 6 months now and truly love the community of students, instructors, and owners! It’s a fantastic environment to learn and grow without judgment! Everyone is so supportive and builds each other up constantly! I would highly recommend the studio whether you are complete beginner or a seasoned aerial arts/yoga practitioner. They have the perfect class for you!

I leave each class feeling rejuvenated and accomplished
I have been a member with Elevate for a little under 2 years, and can say this has been one of the best decisions of my life. I never practiced mat yoga, let alone aerial yoga, before coming here, and was very intimidated when I first signed up. From day one, the teachers, owners, and other members have been so welcoming and supportive, and tailor each experience to your own level. I leave each class feeling rejuvenated and accomplished. If you’re looking for a great workout with a fantastic local community, this is it!

- Tuesday 6:00 AM-5:00 PM;
- Wednesday 6:00 AM-7:00 PM;

- Friday 6:00 AM-6:30 PM;
- Saturday 9:00 AM-12:00 PM;
- Sunday 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
Yoga Box is a central location that offers four distinct yoga class formats. This way, they can accommodate different preferences, ranging from peaceful recovery sessions to intense full-body workouts.
Their unique sculpt classes brilliantly combine traditional poses with hand weights and cardio while maintaining a deep meditative focus.
But you should know that communication regarding extra fees like mat rentals can occasionally feel a bit unclear at the front desk. Some members also noted that the atmosphere feels more clinical and less tightly knit than traditional independent studios.
Even so, the distinct choices between heated and non-heated rooms give you complete control over your daily practice environment.
So encouraging
Love Yoga Box so much!!! Remy’s class is my favorite she pushes you, is so encouraging and her playlist is always fire. Absolutely loved the meditation, energy and healing portion she led today with Betsy. I hope they do more of these classes!

5. Biltmore Hot Yoga

- Friday 5:30 AM-7:00 PM;
- Saturday 6:00 AM- 1:30 PM;
- Sunday 6:30 AM-1:30 PM
Biltmore Hot Yoga is a well-established facility that treats the entire process as a holistic practice. They brilliantly offer yoga classes for students ranging from beginner levels to advanced workshops.
They also make diving into hot yoga incredibly easy by providing convenient gear rentals and excellent introductory packages.
But you should know that popular evening time slots can get incredibly crowded, which leaves you with very little personal mat space. Also, the upbeat music volume can feel a bit intense if you’re looking for a completely silent, meditative escape.
But if you appreciate clear directions and a highly energetic workout vibe, the structured teaching style delivers a fantastic physical challenge.
Challenging for any skill level
Stopped by this studio for an initial class after not having done yoga in a couple of years. I was immediately greeted and made to feel super comfortable and welcomed. Erins class was great – challenging for any skill level. I’d highly recommend!

Welcoming and a warm community with positive energy
This studio and instructors made me fall in love with hot yoga! I tried out various studios when I did the free month of class pass and Biltmore Hot Yoga was by far my favorite that I bought 30 classes thinking I’ll space them out with my other workouts, but I now go multiple times a week! Definitely recommend! It really is welcoming and a warm community with positive energy! I feel rejuvenated after each class!
