5 Best Attic Insulation Companies in Phoenix for a Cooler Home

  • Licensing and certification: We favored properly credentialed contractors who follow Arizona building requirements. No one wants insulation work that creates a code headache later.
  • Material selection: We looked for teams offering foam, fiberglass, cellulose, and other practical options. More choices make it easier to fit the attic, budget, and heat problem.
  • Local response time: We prioritized contractors with a solid Phoenix-area presence. That can mean quicker scheduling and fewer disappearing acts when warranty help is needed.
  • Pricing transparency: We gave extra points for clear, upfront estimates. Surprise fees are bad enough without finding them buried in your attic bill.

My HVAC is already working overtime, and a poorly insulated attic isn’t exactly helping. In Phoenix, that’s basically asking your cooling system to fight the sun with one hand tied.

Good attic insulation helps keep that brutal roof heat from creeping into every room. It can ease the load on your AC and make summer power bills a little less terrifying.

So, I looked for the best attic insulation in Phoenix to help homes stay cooler without making the AC do all the heavy lifting. These local contractors stood out for insulation, sealing, and keeping desert heat where it belongs.

How much does attic insulation cost in Phoenix?

Attic insulation in Phoenix typically costs around $1.50 to $7.00 per square foot. For a 1,500-square-foot attic, many projects land between $2,000 and $6,000, though premium materials can cost more.

Blown-in fiberglass and cellulose are among the more affordable options. Both usually run about $1.50 to $3.50 per square foot, or roughly $2,250 to $5,250 for 1,500 square feet.

Open-cell spray foam costs about $3.00 to $5.00 per square foot. A 1,500-square-foot installation may total around $4,500 to $7,500.

Closed-cell spray foam is the priciest option here. Expect about $4.00 to $7.00 per square foot, or roughly $6,000 to $10,500 for 1,500 square feet.

Friendly, efficient

Phoenix Family Insulation just upgraded the insulation in our attic which was severely needed. They were highly recommended to us and their quote was about half the other quotes we received. Nick, the owner, and his crew were quickly responsive, friendly, efficient and cleaned up beautifully after themselves. We are very happy we choose Phoenix Family Insulation! (I tried to add photos, but the Google Review link to add them isn’t working)

Definitely recommend

We paid for insulation in our attic. The owner was really great at communicating, offered competitive pricing, and did the work quickly with no issues. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone in Phoenix looking for insulation work in their home

Customer Reviews

I am very happy with the work that was done

I mostly corresponded with Orlando. He communicated well and even reminded me that they would be at my house the next morning at 7 AM. They arrived promptly and were hard at work. They did blown-in fiberglass insulation and let me know which areas of the attic needed extra attention. I price-checked four other companies and they were the least expensive. They were professional and did a great job. I am very happy with the work that was done!

You will be happy

Only GREAT things to say about working with Phoenix Insulation!! Mario was responsive and super nice. He explained the current state of the attic and pointed out things even the home inspector didn’t notice or tell us about. Mario and his team completed the job in only an hour, and I am really impressed. The price was super reasonable and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I will be recommending them to all of my friends!! Definitely go with Phoenix Insulation & you will be happy 😁

Attic Construction is a handy pick when your attic problem goes beyond just weak insulation. They handle insulation installation and removal, decontamination, rodent proofing, and air sealing under one roof.

I like that they can tackle the messy stuff before adding fresh insulation. That’s especially useful when old material has been contaminated or pests have turned the attic into their own little condo.

Their radiant barrier service is another plus for Phoenix homes battling serious summer heat.

Free attic inspections make it easier to see what actually needs fixing before work starts.

The main drawback is that their standard pricing isn’t readily available. You’ll need an inspection or quote before comparing costs with other local contractors.

  • Handles insulation installation and removal
  • Offers attic decontamination and rodent proofing

Customer Reviews

We appreciate their dedication, workmanship, & professionalism

Our home is 87 years old.  The attic was in need of a good clean out & new insulation.  We felt we were in good hands with Liron, Jacob, Erin, Kyler, & the crew.  Liron was able to have us scheduled within 48 hours of signing the contract & the installers were courteous & thorough.  We appreciate their dedication, workmanship, & professionalism.  Thank you, Attic Construction.

Extremely happy

The two Attic Construction technicians, Angel and Kyler, exceeded our expectations with having insulation blown in attic! They were professional, clean, laid plastic on garage floor, explained process, pics & gave us confidence the job would be done right.  In Arizona, it’s necessary to insulate garage bc heat will destroy computer components in cars, batteries, even extra pool hoses (per pool guy)  These home builders do bare minimum, sadly. Extremely happy we decided to have this project done  with Attic Construction.

4. Phoenix Spray Foam Insulation

Website

Address: 44 W Monroe St Apt 1905

Contact: 602-786-9221

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 AM–6 PM

Phoenix Spray Foam Insulation is worth a look if your attic has awkward corners that seem designed to defeat ordinary insulation. They work with both open-cell and closed-cell spray foam for residential and commercial spaces.

I like that their service lineup extends beyond standard attics. They handle areas such as pole barns, crawl spaces, and other tricky spots where a tighter air seal can really matter.

Free estimates make it easier to see whether spray foam fits your project before spending a dime.

Their closed-cell option can be especially useful when you need strong thermal resistance in a limited space.

The main drawback is that their published services focus heavily on spray foam. If you want cellulose or blown-in fiberglass, you may need to call another contractor.

Pros

  • Offers open-cell and closed-cell spray foam
  • Handles residential and commercial projects
  • Works on attics, crawl spaces, and pole barns
  • Suitable for awkward or hard-to-reach spaces
  • Free estimates available

Cons

  • Services focus mainly on spray foam/no cellulose and blown-in fiberglass options

Customer Reviews

Their service exceeded my expectations

My home was built in the 70s, so it needed some attention. There were cracks and openings in the attic, and a friend recommended Phoenix Spray Foam Insulation. Their service exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them for any spray foam insulation needs.

Highly recommend

I highly recommend this company. I needed a spray foam installation completed asap for a property that was going on the market. I called and they got right on the job! I will definitely be returning if I need service like these in the future.

5. Supreme Comfort

supreme-comfort

Website

Address: 2900 E Adams St

Contact: (623) 400-6615

Hours: Monday–Saturday, 7 AM – 7 PM

Supreme Comfort makes sense if your attic and air conditioner seem determined to gang up on your power bill.

They handle attic insulation alongside heating and cooling work, which keeps the whole comfort problem under one roof.

I like that broader approach for Phoenix homes where insulation and HVAC performance often go hand in hand. It can save you from juggling separate contractors just to figure out why certain rooms never cool down.

They serve the Greater Phoenix area and offer estimates before work begins.

Customer feedback is generally positive, with attic insulation and duct-sealing work mentioned among their services.

The drawback is that you’ll need to ask for specifics before comparing them with insulation-focused contractors, as pricing and methods aren’t readily available for reference.

Pros

  • Offers attic insulation alongside HVAC services
  • Covers the Greater Phoenix area
  • Convenient for homes with both cooling and insulation issues
  • Estimates available before work begins
  • Generally positive customer feedback

Cons

  • Requires a consultation to compare materials and methods
