Pros
- Wide range of services
- Accessible location
- Online consultations available
Cons
- Closes early
- Outdated website
With their near-perfect score on Google Reviews and overwhelmingly positive patient feedback, we were intrigued to check out U.S. Dermatology Partners Phoenix on 7th Street.
Based on our experience, we can see why they have made a name for themselves as a dermatological clinic in Phoenix.
Since 2008, they are focused in providing medical dermatology services to both pediatric and adult patients on a wide range of diseases including mild inflammatory, infectious, and autoimmune diseases.
We were impressed to see that they offer an extensive range of services including oncologic dermatology, which pertains to the treatment of benign and malignant medical conditions.
In particular, they are very knowledgeable in Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancer removal. They can diagnose and treat different oncologic conditions such as Angiosarcoma, B-cell lymphoma, and Melanoma skin cancer, among others.
Aside from this, they also offer different services under procedural dermatology. They perform surgical procedures to correct defects or scarring.
They can perform acne surgery, Botox, chemical peels, cryosurgery, and fillers, among other procedures. Whether you need serious medical attention or want to enhance visible skin, they’re a good place to go to, from what we’ve seen.
They are composed of a team of three female doctors. We took a peek at their credentials and were impressed by their experience.
Aside from their credentials, we also like that they’re very personable, friendly, and professional.
However, if you’re more comfortable with a male doctor, for example, it might be best to check out the other clinics in this list.
They’re located in an accessible location, so it’s easy to find them. At the same time, they even offer online consultations if you don’t have time to stop by their clinic.

Pros
- Offers plastic surgery alongside dermatology services
- Large team of doctors
- Intuitive online payment system
- Accepts nearly all insurance plans
Cons
- Reports of delays in dealing with billing concerns
- Not as responsive online
What sets Regency Dermatology apart is that they offer plastic surgery aside from dermatology services in their clinic. They are available in four different locations but we focused on the Phoenix branch in particular.
From what we’ve seen, it’s not hard to see why they’re a respected clinic in this area. For one, they have a wide range of services available.
They offer medical and cosmetic dermatology. They also have the ability to diagnose and treat skin cancers.
Under plastic surgery, they offer the following:
- Face
- Breast
- Body
- Reconstructive
- Pediatric
- Hand
- Breast Cancer & Reconstruction
Since every case and situation is different, it’s nice to see that they’re capable of so many treatments and services. They also have a large team of doctors and staff that can assist you, so you have a lot of choices.
Their doctors are all very professional, attentive, and take on a caring approach with their patients. We like that they listen well to all your concerns and promptly answer all your questions regarding treatment.
In terms of payment, they have a payment portal on their website that’s intuitive and convenient. However, there are a few reports that it takes them a long time to return calls when it comes to billing.
So make sure to deal with all billing concerns in their office to avoid this situation.
They accept nearly all insurance plans. If you want to check if your insurance plan is included, you may check here.
Overall, we think that they’re a respectable and efficient clinic, worthy of a mention in this list.

Pros
- State-of-the-art technology available
- Offer spa services aside from dermatology
- Responsive hotline
Cons
- Pricey fees
- No online booking system
- Doesn’t accept AHCCCS insurance
This comprehensive dermatology clinic deserves a mention because of their proven track record and state-of-the-art technology available. Available in two locations, this clinic has established a solid reputation as a clinic in the Greater Phoenix area.
We like that they offer photo patch testing, electrodessication, cryotherapy and wood’s lamp procedures. They use modern technology in their practice and it’s well received by many.
Like the other clinics, they offer both medical and cosmetic dermatology. What sets them apart is that they also have a spa where they provide special treatments for your skin and also sell skin care products.
They have four practicing doctors in their clinics and a large staff of medical assistants who help with procedures. Based on our experience, everyone is so warm, friendly, and hands on.
Their doctors are professional, gentle, and attentive. They answer all your questions patiently and thoroughly, which helps ease your worries as a patient.
Although we do wish that they have an online booking system, we’re glad that they have a very responsive hotline. So it might be best to voice out your concerns or set an appointment via phone call instead.
One thing we noticed, however, is that there are a handful of comments that the clinic charges a hefty price for their services. So if your insurance isn’t covered, it might be best to check out the other clinics on our list.
Please also take note that they don’t accept AHCCCS insurance.

Pros
- Specializes in Brachytherapy
- Self-scheduling feature
- Convenient process with billing and insurance
- Online store
Cons
- Small team
- Inconsistent operating hours
Paradise Valley Dermatology has been around since 2004, so they’ve been around for quite some time already. Since then, they have made a positive impression in the Phoenix community as a reliable and accessible dermatology clinic.
They’re composed of a small team of doctors and staff. So that’s something to consider with this clinic.
If you’re looking for more choices on doctors, it might be best to look into the other clinics we featured here.
Despite their small number, all of the doctors are qualified, extremely professional, and hands on in their approach. They really listen to you and they have a very modern approach when it comes to treatment.
One of their doctors, Dr. Tropper, is a Brachytherapy specialist. Brachytherapy gives a quicker treatment to skin cancer with little side effects and wonderful cosmetic outcomes.
If you’re looking for that particular line of treatment, this clinic is a great option for you.
It’s also really easy to set an appointment with them because of their self-scheduling feature. You can now easily set an appointment on your phone, which is very convenient.
They even text and email you to remind you of your appointment. We find that very helpful.
It’s also easy to talk to them regarding your billing and insurance, they’ll see to it that they check your coverage before your appointment. To see if your insurance plan is covered here, you can check this list.
To add to all this, one other perk is that they have an in-house online store where you can buy skin care products.

Pros
- Offers laser services
- Telemedicine option available
- Easy online payment
Cons
- Not contracted with any AHCCCS plan
- No online booking system
- Inconsistent hours
Stockton Dermatology has been serving Phoenix since 2000. They’re known for both their aesthetic and medical services.
One of the things we noticed is that they’re one of the few clinics who also offers a wide range of laser services. So if that’s something you’re looking for, they’re one of the best options on this list.
Their leading dermatologist, Dr. Stockton, is a board-certified dermatologist with extensive years of experience and solid credentials. Working with her is her full-time staff that are all trained in different aspects of the practice.
From what we’ve seen, their expertise is very evident in the way they deal with their patients. We like how pleasant and comfortable the whole experience of consulting with them was.
They’re easy to find and we like that they even offer telemedicine options for those who don’t have time to go to the clinic themselves. Patient forms can also be downloaded online, which is a very convenient option.
As for payment, do know that they’re also not contracted with any AHCCCS plan. Make sure to contact them regarding insurance prior to your appointment.
They also have an easy online payment portal that you can use. We find that extremely convenient.
We wish, however, that they have a reliable online booking system for appointments. For now, they usually just handle it over the phone.
Overall, we think they’re a great clinic that deserves a spot on our list.
