House De Lashes was one of the first places we checked when we started looking for beginner-friendly and non-intimidating lash training programs. We love that the entire sign-up process was a breeze, making registrations quick and straightforward.

Another thing we immediately appreciated was their payment scheme. We love how manageable it is, so you really don’t need to settle everything up front.

Your payment also comes with a professional lash kit, so you don’t have to worry about investing in a full kit while you’re just testing the waters. And here’s another great bonus: graduates get a lifetime 10% student discount at their store!

We also like that their Arizona Board-approved 30-hour program is well-structured. Here, students will have 10 hours dedicated to studying the theory, followed by 20 hours of hands-on practice.

Make sure to complete your training so you can receive a Certificate of Accomplishment, which is a great kickoff to your lash career.

This lash license place also offers flexible scheduling, which is a big plus if you’re juggling other commitments. However, they’re not open on Sundays, so you might have to squeeze them in on other days.

Pros

  • Quick and easy class registration
  • Manageable payment scheme
  • Provides a professional lash kit
  • Arizona Board-approved 30-hour program
  • Flexible scheduling

Cons

  • Not open on Sundays
  • Limited live-model practice

Perfect balance of hands-on practice and theory

“I had such a great experience with my lash instructor, Bianca! She was welcoming, supportive, and extremely knowledgeable. The training was a perfect balance of hands-on practice and theory, which really set us up for success. I loved every part of the program, especially meeting future lash techs who share the same passion as me. Bianca also provided us with so many resources, tools, and even marketing guidance to help us build our future businesses. I can’t thank her enough for helping me start this new chapter—I feel confident and prepared thanks to her training!”

Here is my model for test day🤍 thank you Heidi”

For those of you looking for a lash license place that offers the freedom to choose between online and in-person training, The Lash Professional could be a great match.

They offer a 30-hour, hands-on lash training program where you can work on classic, hybrid, and even mega-volume lashes.

We also like that their live, in-person classes come in flexible formats. Here, you can choose between a four-day and an eight-night schedule, depending on your lifestyle.

Meanwhile, for those who prefer learning from home, their online courses offer long-term access.

Just a heads up, though, that you only have sixty days to complete the online lash course. This setup might feel a bit rushed or restrictive, especially if you don’t have much free time.

When it comes to the actual in-person training, we love that Janna, one of the teachers, is detailed and pretty intentional. The one-on-one guidance was our favorite, especially since you start on a mannequin before moving to a live model

And if you want to expand your skill set even further, you can take their certified Lash Life Course, which covers anatomy, the lift process, and product knowledge.

Pros

  • Has one-on-one trainings
  • 30-hour hands-on lash training program
  • Offers online lash extension training
  • Friendly teachers

Cons

  • Limited hands-on practice for online training
  • Restricted time frame for course access

Generous in providing constructive feedback

“I recently completed the course to become a certified lash technician and choosing this accredited school was hands down the best choice I made! Janna is the teacher and she is AMAZING! I’m not exaggerating she is very hands on with both the fake model and actual model. She provides feedback as well as corrections to help you achieve the correct outcome. I’m leaving here confident in my new skills and ready to lash and make people beautiful! 💖”

Supportive throughout the entire program

“I just completed my 30-hour training with Janna, and she was amazing! I came into the class with zero experience or knowledge about lash extensions, but she made the learning process so much easier. She’s incredibly sweet, patient, and supportive throughout the entire training. Highly recommend!”

What we love about Raw Beauty Skin and Lash Academy is their small class sizes, not to mention the multiple instructors present during the lash extension training sessions.

We love how this setup feels more focused yet less intimidating, especially for beginners. You’ll also love that the instructors constantly walk around to check on everyone, making sure that you get the technique down.

Since there are several teachers in the room, we love that you also get several one-on-one opportunities during the entire training program.

Even better, once they see that you’re ready, they’ll even let you perform lash extension services on real clients—but with their guidance, of course! For us, it’s a great boost of confidence and a good chance to correct our form, timing, and glue control.

It’s also worth mentioning that Courtney, the owner, is very hands-on from start to finish. We appreciate her for answering all our questions with patience and clarity, which honestly made us not even think twice about enrolling.

However, their tuition fees lean more toward the premium side. It’s worth considering if you’re working on a tight budget.

Pros

  • Several one-on-one opportunities
  • Opportunity to do lash extensions on actual clients
  • Fun and more lively vibe
  • Hands-on owner

Cons

  • Premium rates
  • Limited training hours

Attentive to the students’ progress

“This academy is absolutely phenomenal and not to mention the best instructors, Paige and Maddie who thoroughly demonstrate all the different techniques and fundamentals of Raw Beauty Academy. They are extremely attentive to your progress. The absolute best! Highly recommend!”

Small class size

This class is AMAZING!!! Extremely knowledgeable teachers very patient, kind and helpful. A ton of one on one help and very small class size, which makes this class even better. Both Maddie’s and Kara were great and very helpful. This class is so much fun and honestly, as patient and kind and helpful as they are it makes me more excited and comfortable to start my new career. I would definitely recommend. 10/10

When we entered Lily’s class at Sassy Lashes, the first thing we noticed was how clean and organized her place was. Every tool was sanitized, showing us that hygiene and professionalism are actually practiced here.

It’s the kind of foundation that sets you up with good habits long before you even start applying your first lash.

Their thirty-hour, four-day in-person course covers classic, volume, and hybrid techniques. It has a curriculum split into 10 hours of theory study and 20 hours of hands-on practice.

Lily is known for her precise training. We love how she takes the time to make sure you understand each technique. With support videos and a full training manual, you can always revisit after class.

And here’s the best part: Upon completing your training, you’ll be provided with an extensive starter kit that will allow you to service up to thirty clients, plus a certificate from a state-board-approved trainer.

The full training costs $3,500. However, they follow a strict refund policy, so make sure your schedule is clear before signing up.

Pros

  • Clean and sanitized studio
  • Has support videos that students can revisit anytime
  • Highlights hands-on practices

Cons

  • Strict refund policy
  • Limited long-term mentorship

Very thorough approach

“I took a lash extension training with Lili and it helped my technique tremendously!! She was very welcoming and thorough. The quality of her work is something I strive for as a beginner. Truly appreciate her as an instructor!”

Provides a fully informative training manual

“Wow! What an incredible experience! I wasn’t certain what to anticipate, but I couldn’t have selected a better eyelash technician training to earn my eyelash extension certification than Sassy Lashes Beauty Services. Lili, our instructor, has over ten years of experience in the industry and delivered clear and precise training. The training manual was fully informative, and we also received an extensive starter kit. She was very generous with her time and products. With her extensive expertise and wealth of knowledge, she shared numerous tips, tricks, and best practices. I left feeling confident in what I learned and can’t wait to see what the future holds for me. I highly recommend the eyelash technician training by Sassy Lashes Beauty Services to anyone seeking to get their certification. Lili is truly inspirational and supportive, it was truly a fantastic experience, and I can’t thank her enough for everything!”

The Studio Academy of Beauty isn’t just a lash license school; it’s actually a one-stop academy where you can also train in hairstyling, cosmetology, and esthetics.

One of the things that we liked about them is how flexible the program is. Here, you can choose between full-time and part-time schedules, which is great if you’re dealing with other commitments.

The best part is that their classes start every month, so you don’t have to wait for an entire semester to roll around. Just note that we’ve heard about poor management of student records, which could delay graduations for some.

Throughout the course, you also get to work with world-class beauty brands like Design Essentials, CHI, and Redken. This allows you to practice with tools and products that real salons use.

Speaking of practice, you’re not just there to work on mannequins. Instead, you’ll be exposed to real-life clients quite a few times during your training program, which is really very helpful.

Meanwhile, for those of you who are strict with your budget, you’ll love that The Studio Academy of Beauty offers financial aid. They accept payments through Pell Grants and Direct Student Loans, so you may want to check it out.

Pros

  • Offers financial aid
  • Classes start on a monthly basis
  • Has full-time and part-time classes

Cons

  • Reports of poor management of student records
  • Broad cosmetology program might limit lash extension training

Supportive and hands-on education

This was my first experience at a beauty school, and it was great! Denise B did a wonderful job. I got a color and a cut and both are perfect. I had a really great experience and I highly recommend this to everyone. Prices are good, instructors are on sight if they have any questions. It was the best experience. Keep up the great work Denise. I will follow you for sure.

Skilled and friendly environment

“I have had two visits with student Ashley. She is very professional and experienced. My first service was a chemical relaxer and hair cut. The relaxer was done very very well. The hair cut and curl made me look like a totally different person. I am so happy with her hairstyling abilities. The school is well run and very friendly environment. Once again an incredible experience at the studio. My hairstylist was Kristen. She did an excellent job. Very professional. One of the best shampoo and scalp massage ever. She is graduating this July. I’m convinced she will do very well.”
