In fact, they have an online portal that allows all of us to check patient care notes and stay updated on our grandfather’s routine, straight from our mobile phones.

One thing we highly appreciate is how accommodating they are in setting up a billing and payment plan that works for us. We love that they allowed us to split payments bi-weekly, which is great if you’re managing Social Security deposits.

Aside from medical assistance, the caregivers here at Phoenician Home Care also help with our grandfather’s daily needs. These include light cleaning, meal preparation, and even with his laundry.

And for those with veterans in the family, this agency also provides specialized support, ensuring their service is acknowledged and respected.

However, you may find it a bit challenging to get a caregiver on very short notice. We highly suggest calling them at least 2 days in advance.

We love that Arizona Home Care and Infusion provides in-home physical therapy until transition to the onsite one. It really helps patients make significant progress without the stress of going from one place to another.

Another thing that we love about them is that they’re always prompt. We would always contact them whenever we had questions about their homework exercises. They were always ready to guide us further, even past midnight.

You’ll also love that they offer same-day surgery support. We suggest availing of their in-home services for antibiotic administration and monitoring, as everything can be confusing after the operation.

It’s also great that they have a specialty pharmacy, which makes it easier for us to find specific medications without having to hop from one store to another. However, we noticed that theirs can be a bit pricier than its counterparts.

It might be best to compare costs, especially if you’re dealing with multiple prescriptions.

Impressive physical therapy program

“Arizona Home Care was absolutely amazing!!! A truly well organized and professional organization with an outstanding caring team. I had a left hip replacement on 2/6/2024. This was my first time having any type of surgery. I was contacted by Arizona Home Care days before my surgery to explain their procedure and process for my post surgery care. Because my wife and I were having a new home built, we were staying in a hotel at the time of my surgery. Starting on 2/7/2024, my PT Angie came to the hotel begin a super excellent therapy program which was for three times a week for three weeks. In addition, the nurse assigned to me, Joelle, came three times to check vitals. Both were very professional, kind, caring and understanding. Can’t say enough about Angi. She is truly an awesome physical therapist. Her therapy program had me off the walker and cane and walking several distances without any glitches or problems. This was a wonderful experience!!! When I was recovering at home after my recent surgery, we reached out to Nightingale Homecare to help me during the initial weeks of rehabilitation.

And let me tell you, we were quite impressed with their thorough nursing evaluation, which was a very significant step for my care plan.

We also appreciate their physical and occupational therapists for coming in prepared with the right tools and offering new suggestions to improve my rehabilitation routine.

Additionally, they also provided a good speech therapy plan. It helped maintain my strong mental functions during recovery.

You can also rely on them for day-to-day tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, bathing, and even grocery runs. They even watered our plants even though we didn’t ask for it, which is really a great bonus.

Another thing that we love about them is that they will always work around your schedule. This also means being flexible for sudden cancellations or attending to urgent doctor’s appointments.

However, it’s worth noting that not all therapists may be available on short notice. We suggest scheduling ahead of time.

What we love most about them is that they provide in-home care through a registry of W‑2 employed caregivers. Their services cover a broad range, including respite care, post-operative care, and more. 

We observed them one weekend and appreciated how they adjust their approach to the client’s mood and energy level, which is really comforting. They’re also a great partner in helping seniors maintain daily stability. They even establish routines, such as doing morning exercises and reading a book after lunch.

On top of that, you can rely on them to incorporate companionship into their care. Their caregivers are easy to talk to, and they make sure to be that familiar friend your loved ones need.

The BBB accreditation and detailed service listing support that this is a legitimate home-care business, not a fly-by-night operation.

However, we would like half-hour visits to be available. Some families, like us, don’t need full-hour assistance every time.

If you’re someone who loves having constant peace of mind when it comes to your loved one’s care, then you’ll appreciate BrightStar Care’s great follow-through.

Here, they help with non-medical daily living. This includes errands, housekeeping, meal planning, and more. They even emphasize personalized assessments by creating a care plan through the Director of Nursing (RN). 

We also love that they provide assistance with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living). All caregivers here are trained to observe and report changes in condition to a Registered Nurse. 

However, it’s worth noting that a few visits felt a bit rushed. We wish caregivers had more time for casual conversations.

Nonetheless, their Registered Nurses provide top-notch in-home pediatric nursing. You can entrust them with the complex needs like IV therapy, ostomy, and even a ventilator. 

In addition, for those with pets at home, you’ll love how naturally their caregivers fit into your daily routine. We were honestly surprised when they took our three dogs out to play during one of their visits.
