5 Best Travel Agencies in Phoenix to Plan Your Next Getaway

  • Industry Certifications & Affiliations: I checked for active memberships in networks like Virtuoso and Travel Leaders. Those ties signal high industry standards and unlock partner perks.
  • Specialization & Destination Expertise: I looked at each agency's travel niche. Deep knowledge of luxury cruises or European tours leads to a richer trip.
  • Customer Support & Service Quality: I favored agencies that stay reachable during your whole trip. Fast replies matter when flights get delayed or plans suddenly change.
  • Transparent Pricing & Value: I checked how clearly each agency explains planning fees and deposit rules. Clear communication means no hidden costs later.

Planning a memorable vacation should feel exciting, but booking flights and hotels on your own gets exhausting fast, especially for big trips.

A travel agency in Phoenix can build a tailored trip and unlock perks you can’t get alone. Here’s my list of the best local options.

Definitely recommend

Teri is outstanding!  Booked an outstanding trip to St Lucia for me.  This was my first time using a travel agent and I have to say that based on my experience with Teri, I definitely would plan another vacation with her.  She kept me informed of everything and when our flight was delayed on the way home, she kept me informed.  I definitely recommend using her for your next vacation!

Linette Baker | Google Review

Highly recommend

Teri was so great with booking our honeymoon to Vietnam and Cambodia. She was super responsive to any questions or changes we had made, and was really helpful with creating an amazing experience. Every service went above and beyond, from the tour guides, to the airport shuttles, transportation, flights, hotels, activities including a Cambodian cooking class, visiting temples, a cruise through Halong Bay, walking and food tours in Hanoi, were all five stars. I would highly recommend booking Awaken Travels.

Great job

Tom did a great job with our trip. Every detail was covered and we did  not have any issues on our mult-country trip. This was my first time using a travel agent and I would recommend him to my friends. He stayed in constant contact before, during, and after the trip. Thanks Tom.

We worked with Tom to plan our family spring break vacation to Cancun, he was fantastic!  He was extremely responsive throughout the entire process, and listed to our requests and worked hard to find options that worked for our family.  If you’re looking for vacation planning assistance, I would highly recommend contacting Tom!

Strongly recommend

We wanted to visit several cities in Italy that a typical guided bus tour would not provide. Preferred Travel Services was a goldmine of information and advice that not only made our trip a reality, but created an itinerary that made our independent travel experience go as smooth as silk. We strongly recommend this organization and staff of highly knowledgeable professionals.

Address: 4600 E Washington St, Suite 300, AZ 85034

Contact: (602) 275-8338

Hours: Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Global Travel AZ delivers corporate and leisure travel under one roof. Their corporate side combines executive flight management with detailed policy compliance.

Beyond business travel, they also coordinate complex VIP arrangements and custom vacation packages. For leisure travelers, that means group bookings and tailored itineraries.

Visa help is another standout, especially for tricky destinations like China and Vietnam. It saves you hours of confusing paperwork.

For broader needs, these immigration agencies in Phoenix are also worth a look.

But note that visiting in person takes patience, since their office sits on the congested East Washington Street corridor. Expect heavy airport traffic and tight parking.

Pros

  • Full-service corporate and executive flight management
  • Custom leisure vacation planning and group bookings
  • Assistance with international travel visas and paperwork
  • Experienced team handling complex VIP business arrangements

Cons

  • Office located on congested East Washington Street

Great job!

Over the course of many years, I have had help with my applications for Chinese visas multiple times and in various visa categories from Kenny Fung at Global Travel (4 times, if I remember correctly). Every time I received great and prompt service. My most recent application I made from my new home far away from Phoenix, and I was somewhat apprehensive how that would work out. Again, Kenny Fung at Global Travel made it super easy for me. A big “thank you!” to Kenny. Great job.

So, if you need help with a visa for China, look no further than Kenny Fung at Global Travel. You will be in good hands.

Humble and helpful

Super helpful! The office is small, but really liked the guy I worked with. I went in without an appointment and when I entered the office, he was on the phone. He kindly asked the person on the phone to take a call back and promptly helped us!

He took a look at our situation and advised we actually apply for a visa in another country (long story) in order to save us some money. He could have lied and forced us to pay a bunch of unnecessary money but instead was humble and helpful.

Definitely would recommend and I will definitely use global travel in the future

5. Camelback Travel

camelback-travel

Website: https://www.camelbacktravel.com/

Address: 4140 N 44th St, Unit 102, AZ 85018

Contact: (602) 266-4000

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Camelback Travel specializes in tailored luxury itineraries built around each traveler. They use global partnerships to secure exclusive room upgrades and bespoke travel arrangements.

From your first planning call until you are safely home, a dedicated advisor handles all destination logistics so you never have to worry about sudden reservation issues.

Along with that support, the high-end focus brings elite hotel amenities and special VIP privileges. If you want a premier luxury travel agency, those perks come standard from booking to return.

Budget travelers may want to look elsewhere, though, since their luxury focus makes them a poor match for strictly budget-conscious trips.

Pros

  • Customized itinerary planning tailored to travelers
  • Global partner network for exclusive room upgrades
  • Comprehensive destination and logistics management
  • Dedicated advisor support throughout the entire journey

Cons

  • Focuses primarily on high-end luxury vacations

My family has been working with Nick Moran for years, and has always raved about him.  This is the first time I have had the opportunity and he is helping me with a 2 week trip to Europe.  I can say he is extremely professional, honest, prompt, and reliable.  His advice has been invaluable and his recommendations spot on.  I highly recommend him.  Both my family and I will continue to work with him for years to come!
