The 5 Best Audiologists in Phoenix for Personalized Hearing Care

  • Doctor Credentials & Best Practice Compliance: We evaluated clinics based on whether their staff hold Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degrees. We also checked if they consistently perform Real-Ear Measurements (REM) for precise device programming.
  • Brand Neutrality & Technology Access: We assessed whether providers offer devices from multiple global hearing aid manufacturers. This ensures patients aren’t locked into single-brand proprietary sales agreements.
  • Specialized Diagnostic Capabilities: We prioritised practices capable of treating complex conditions like severe tinnitus or auditory processing disorders. Clinics offering comprehensive vestibular and balance testing scored higher in our ranking.
  • Patient Counseling & Follow-Up Care: We reviewed the quality of ongoing care packages and clear warranty options. Access to free trial periods and routine maintenance support also influenced our final choices.
  • Verified Patient Feedback: We analysed authentic client reviews and overall local community reputation. High patient satisfaction ratings across the metropolitan area helped confirm the reliability of each clinic.

The right audiologists in Phoenix can make hearing care feel clearer, more comfortable, and easier to manage. If you notice a ringing in your ears or struggle to catch conversations in noisy restaurants, getting professional help is crucial.

Ignoring the early signs of hearing loss often leads to isolation and frustration for everyone involved. You need a dedicated specialist who actually listens to your concerns and tailors a realistic treatment plan.

We’ve scoured the local options to bring you the top clinics offering reliable diagnostic testing and advanced device fittings. Here are the best clinics to book your next comprehensive ear exam in the city!

Contact: (602) 265-9000

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Southwest Balance Dizziness & Ear Institute goes beyond standard checks by using a full vestibular diagnostic battery instead of just basic Videonystagmography (VNG). This approach helps them catch disorders that traditional methods often miss entirely.

Dr. Dana Day, a highly respected audiologist, leads the team with deep expertise in central auditory processing issues.

We spoke to a family friend who visited this clinic for severe vertigo, and they raved about the staff’s empathetic, highly detailed care.

The main downside is their location on a heavily congested street. The office sits right on 7th Street, where the city uses a confusing reversible lane system that makes rush-hour driving stressful.

Pros

  • Comprehensive vestibular testing
  • High diagnostic sensitivity
  • Specialised tinnitus treatment
  • Personalised rehabilitation plans

Cons

  • Stressful rush-hour traffic

Great from beginning to end

The employees here were great from beginning to end. I had to get a hearing test done due to job requirements and from the time I walked in to the time I left, i had a great experience, the receptionist was helpful, the technician was thorough and explained all the different tests, and at the end the doctor came in and went over the results. I highly recommend them and this will be my new audiologist for myself and my family.

Excellent

Drs. Day and Schmidt are excellent! They were able to diagnose my unusual balance and hearing issues and help me to attend to them. Contact: (602) 956-1250

Integrated medical support sets Biltmore Audiology & Hearing Aid Center apart from standard standalone clinics.

Their specialists work directly alongside Biltmore ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) physicians to provide comprehensive solutions for auditory issues. This collaborative approach addresses ear trauma and hearing loss under one unified health system.

Your assigned audiologist will encourage you to bring a frequent communication partner to your sessions. This ensures the audiologist can build a treatment plan that actually improves your conversations at home.

Sadly, scheduling a prompt visit can be slightly frustrating. Their practitioners see patients across multiple locations, making it a challenge to book a fast appointment.

Plus, you’ll likely need to plan your visits well in advance to secure a convenient time slot.

Pros

  • Integrated ENT physician support
  • Family involvement encouraged
  • Comprehensive trauma assessment
  • Broad range of treatments

Cons

  • Difficult to book fast appointments

The best experience

The experience with Dr. Cliff Olson has been the best I have ever had with an Audiologist over my 30+ years. I think the main difference is his knowledge and use of “Best Audiology Practices”. Of course he is familiar with the best hearing aids as well, as he reviews them on his YouTube Channel — including wearing them as well. Even my family has noticed the difference in my ability to hear better.

Thank you Dr. Olson and Applied Hearing for being the best

Applied Hearing is the best. Before coming to Dr. Olson’s office other audiologist, could not get my Hearing aid “right” at all, always something wrong. Applied Hearing on first visit perfected my Hearing aid. I’ve been here over 1 year and Applied Hearing, Changed my life in hearing for the best! Amazing to hear the little things like birds chirp everyday and enjoy hearing aid as they were intended. Not every audiologist are made the same! Thank you Dr. Olson and Applied Hearing for being the best.
