PHX Burrito House is that neighborhood restaurant that you can visit if you’re craving burrito for breakfast, specifically their crowd-favorite chorizo breakfast burrito. As you walk in half-asleep, the smell of chorizo and eggs will definitely wake you up.
Here, they have clearly labeled vegetarian dishes so our plant-lover friends can easily see what’s available for them. They also have other Mexican dishes available such as tacos and quesadilla.
Also, if the owner’s around, he’ll probably stop by to chat, and it somehow makes the Mexican dishes taste so much better.

The Beach House is that food truck you spot and immediately you know you’re about to eat something tasty. You know you’re near their shop as soon as you feel a surf-shack vibe on the curbside (complete with their chill playlist too).
When you’re here, don’t forget to try their crispy fish tacos. Their fish bowls are also great, you’d probably plan your next visit after just having three bites.
If there’s a long line during your visit, don’t get discouraged easily. Their staff move pretty fast, and their carne asada burrito is really worth the wait.
Pro Tip:
The Beach House is also known for its slushies, so make sure to pair your burrito with this drink. The two top-favorite flavors you can get are the cherry and raspberry.

We always head to Taco Boys whenever we want a burrito fast. We usually get our orders in under ten minutes, so your ‘hanger’ really won’t kick in while you’re here.
What we love is their use of mesquite charcoal that gives the meats a distinct char and flavor that’s different from many taco spots. And let’s not forget that the family-heritage and Sonoran roots add authenticity.
Just a heads up though, their red sauce is no joke, so maybe skip on that if you’re not really good with too spicy food. Luckily, they have several fresh condiments you can try with your burrito.
Pro Tip:
Consider arriving at Taco Boys before 4 in the afternoon as lines get pretty long beyond that time.

On our first visit, we made sure to try their cecina. It is tender, salty, and really has that authentic Mexican taste.

Okay, attention here please: Rolbertos is that ride-or-die spot whenever we’re starving and need something fast. So if you’re on the verge of ‘hanger’, then it’s time to pull up to their drive-thru because in less than a minute, you’ll be out of their order window.
When you’re here, don’t miss out on their carne asada with shrimp burrito. We also get their pollo asado whenever we’re here, and we would always need a moment in the car just to appreciate every bite of it.
Pro Tip:
Parking here at Rolbertos is pretty limited, so we suggest sticking to their drive-thru if you’re craving their burrito.

Our most favorite dish whenever we’re here is the ground beef chimichanga. It’s also the reason why we always swing by on Mondays.
However, there aren’t many seats here, and their al fresco area also gets a bit noisy since the store is located in the intersection. We normally call the store to place our order, grab it and go, and just enjoy eating them at home.
Pro Tip:
El Norteño only accepts cash, so make sure you have your dollars ready before getting your burrito fix.
