However, we still find their rates to be a little steeper than those of the others. In fact, their quotation was higher than the first three we received.

Meanwhile, we love how they cleaned up our space after working on our furnace, allowing us to return to our normal routine right away. This comes in handy, especially if you call for an emergency repair at midnight.

If you’re looking for a furnace repair company with a proven reputation, then Parker & Sons’ fifty years in the business would probably say it all.

What we love about them is that we can call them whenever we need help right away. Aside from showing up within an hour, you can trust them to complete minor repairs within two hours (yes, that includes clean-up already!).

Another thing we like about them is that they don’t charge extra fees for nights, weekends, or holidays. So don’t sacrifice freezing overnight just to wait for regular business hours.

You’ll also love that their technicians take the time to explain the process. The best part is that they show up in a great mood, so the friendly vibe made us feel comfortable enough to ask questions before they started working.

However, while we were happy to know that our furnace came with labor and parts warranty, we later learned that some conditions didn’t fall under full coverage. We highly recommend double-checking your warranty terms just to prevent confusion later on.

Doesn’t upsell services

“Had an amazing experience with our whole house Ecowater & reverse osmosis system. Just purchased a new build in Goodyear. As we were leaving the Costco in Surprise we stopped & spoke Irene (rep for Parker & Sons). We called her as soon as our house closed this past Wednesday. She scheduled an appt. For today Friday 9.26.25. We were very impressed with Jeff the sales rep. He is just a matter of fact and very knowledgeable of the Ecowater system. I had a lot of questions that were answered professionally. No high pressure sales just gave us information & the confidence that we were with the right team. During the inspection, the technician was thorough and transparent in their approach. They were able to explain every issue, providing us with realistic repair options that took into account both urgency and budget.

We also received our cost estimates promptly, which made scheduling the repair quick and easy.

If there’s one thing we could highlight about North Valley Mechanical is that their technicians are very respectful of your home. We love how they always slip on protective coverings for their shoes before they step inside.

Meanwhile, if you can’t be home during the repair appointment, you can expect them to send photo updates, showing before-and-after shots. As a result, you can easily check the progress.

Speaking of photos, we appreciated them sending over a complete inspection report with photos included. It enabled us to understand what needs to be fixed, rather than relying solely on terms with which you are unfamiliar.

You can also expect them to thoroughly inspect every component, so you won’t end up with a faulty furnace after just a week of being repaired.

Another thing we like is how consistently they send reminders. They’ll even call to schedule your maintenance, so don’t worry if you suddenly forget to write it down in your planner.

However, the cost for replacement parts is a bit pricey. We recommend requesting a detailed breakdown before proceeding with the repairs.
