We initially heard about Pawgo from a co-worker who loved how convenient it was to book a full grooming session right from her driveway. And since they operate near homes and offices, we decided to try their mobile setup as well.

One thing we immediately appreciated is that they can handle all breeds and sizes. So whether you just had your first pup or have a senior dog, these pet groomers will adjust their approach and pace to your dog’s needs.

Angela, one of the groomers, would be your go-to for senior dogs. You can expect her to check in with you about sensitivities and mobility issues.

We love that booking online was relatively easy. You just need to pick your schedule and confirm your location.

Another thing we love about them is that they use separate fresh-water tanks inside the mobile grooming van. This also means your pet will be washed with clean and temperature-controlled water.

They also don’t use cage dryers, which is a huge relief for us, since we really worry about overheating. 

Just a heads-up: all cancellations not made within forty-eight hours will be charged the full amount. There’s also a $25 rebooking fee, which you should take note of as well.

Cookies N Clean offers some of the most flexible grooming options in Phoenix. Whether you need full pet grooming or even mobile pet grooming services, they somehow manage to cover it all.

We decided to try their self-serve dog wash. While they provide the water and the tub, you still need to bring your own grooming supplies, though, so keep that in mind.

For those days when you really don’t want to leave the house, you can try their at-home grooming service. These groomers have a fully equipped grooming van that can park straight in your driveway.

Just note that their mobile grooming slots fill up quickly, so we suggest booking at least a week in advance to secure a spot.

We also commend them for keeping us updated during the grooming session. They would even send a text message when our dog was ready, complete with before-and-after photos, which really felt reassuring.

Another thing we love about Cookies N Clean is their affordable rates, which are ideal if your dog needs frequent grooming sessions each month.

We recently stopped by Bark & Bark Dog Grooming Salon, a Latino-owned small pet grooming business in Phoenix. 

Here, you can really tell how much they genuinely love dogs by their impressive level of patience, even with very stubborn pups.

We’re also quite impressed that they work fast without stressing the dogs. These groomers still make sure your pets stay calm and comfortable without wasting too much time during the session.

Our favorite part? They add little bows to your pet’s head after a grooming session, making your dog look extra adorable when you pick them up.

Before heading out, make sure to browse their on-site shop too. You can find pet clothes, collars, and leashes. They even have unique designs here, so you’re most likely not to find them elsewhere.

However, Bark & Bark Dog Grooming Salon is strictly for dogs, so they don’t offer services for cats. They also frequently change their operating hours, so we highly suggest calling ahead to confirm they’re open before dropping by.

If you love to give your dog a little spa-like treatment without leaving your home, then Furry Land is a great option. It’s also great that they have extensive business hours seven days a week.

We love that everything happens right outside your home. And since they bring their own warm water and electricity, no hookups are needed.

The mobile grooming salon is also cage-free, so your dog stays with the groomer the whole time without any waiting (and less stress for them too!).

We also go to Furry Land when our mini poodle, Ragnar, has severe matting. You can expect them to stay gentle and won’t ever force anything that could hurt or overwhelm your pup.

The best part? Most sessions can be done in less than ninety minutes, which is great if you’re in a hurry.

Meanwhile, if you have a favorite dog shampoo, you can also ask them to use it. It is ideal if your pets have skin sensitivities or allergies.

Just note that there were a few reports of sudden cancellations. Rebooking with this pet grooming salon is quite tricky too. The schedule fills up relatively quickly, sometimes taking a month to secure another slot.

Smooth booking process

“The booking process was via text and very smooth. Our groomer Quinn was communicative and AMAZING with my very nervous, not always friendly Cairn Terrier/Chihuaua. She normally won’t even let me brush her. She had mats and needed shaving, bathing and nails trimmed. She went with Quinn easily and they were done in just under an hour! Quinn said she did great.
