European Ballet and Piano School (EBPS) provides a unique combination of piano and ballet classes designed to stimulate both brain and body development. Their programs are suitable for children starting at age 4 up to adults of any age, ensuring lifelong learning.
The school emphasizes using 70% of the brain during each class, integrating listening, focusing, and coordination skills. Students progress through beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, preparing them for school, college, and beyond.
Their piano program offers lessons in piano playing, music theory, solfeggio, and cognitive skills such as motivation and focus. Adults benefit from this program as a way to keep their minds sharp and active, with some students attending well into their 70s.
Ballet classes go beyond traditional training by including gym exercises, barre work, stretching, brain games, and nutrition lessons. Students also learn character dances, classical ballet, and healthy lifestyle habits, making the program holistic and engaging.
EBPS provides excellent facilities with multiple pianos for practice and performance and a ballet studio equipped with a gym and stage. Masterclasses with top-level instructors, including the Director of the National Ballet Foundation, allow students to gain international-level experience.
The school is highly decorated, winning awards for both piano and ballet multiple years in a row and being recognized among the top ballet schools nationally. Membership in the International Dance Association further elevates their students’ credibility and opportunities.
Most importantly, EBPS fosters a fun, family-oriented environment where students enjoy learning, playing games, and building friendships. Teachers are highly educated, experienced, and personally invested in each student’s development.
We hit the jackpot with Jelena!
“We hit the jackpot with Jelena! She taught my daughter more in 4 months than her previous teacher in 2.5 years. Her style of teaching, the care, love and concern she has for all her students is unmatched. Shes one of one.”
– Isabella Allen, Google Review
Ms. J is such a blessing
“Ms. J is such a blessing to my girls. We went to the MIM (musical instrument museum) today as a field trip and my daughter was so excited to tell the tour guide and her peers how she “is learning piano” and show the skills she’s learned since being at EBPS. Thanks Ms. J. Keep being you 🧡
The girls (6 & 7) learn & retain something every lesson. I love it!”

Prestige Music Academy positions itself as a music school that prioritizes personalized private instruction for students of all ages and experience levels. Its piano lessons stand out as a core offering, providing one-on-one instruction in classical, jazz, and contemporary styles while emphasizing strong technique and expressive musicianship.
One of the academy’s biggest strengths is its individualized approach to teaching. Students are matched with instructors based on their learning style, goals, and personality, allowing lessons to progress at a comfortable pace while keeping students engaged and motivated throughout their musical journey.
The piano program also extends beyond weekly lessons by giving students opportunities to perform in bi-annual recitals and smaller live events. These experiences encourage students to apply what they have learned, build confidence on stage, and develop performance skills that complement their technical training.
Families may also appreciate the academy’s flexible scheduling options, especially those with multiple children enrolled in lessons. The ability to arrange simultaneous or back-to-back lessons, combined with the school’s central Phoenix location and year-round availability, makes it easier to fit piano instruction into busy schedules.
Student testimonials consistently highlight the quality of the piano instructors and the supportive learning environment. Parents describe noticeable progress after a year of lessons, while students are praised through initiatives like student recognition, and the availability of substitute instructors and makeup lessons helps maintain consistency when scheduling conflicts arise.
Another notable advantage is the academy’s commitment to accessibility through ESA and ClassWallet funding, along with a complimentary 30-minute introductory lesson for new students. While Prestige Music Academy primarily focuses on private instruction after age five rather than group classes, this approach may be especially beneficial for students who thrive with individualized attention and customized lesson plans.
We have had such a wonderful experience with Prestige Music Academy!
“We have had such a wonderful experience with Prestige Music Academy! Both of my daughters my 12 year old and my 7 year old take piano lessons there, and the difference it has made in their confidence and skills has been amazing to watch.
The instructors are patient, encouraging, and incredibly knowledgeable. They do a great job of meeting each child at their level while still challenging them to grow. My girls actually look forward to their lessons every week, which says a lot! The teachers make learning piano fun while also building strong fundamentals and discipline in their practice.
Another huge blessing for our family is that they accept ESA, which makes it possible for our children to receive these lessons while using their education funds. That has been such a great benefit for us.
If you are looking for a place where your children will not only learn piano but also develop a love for music, I highly recommend Prestige Music Academy. We are so grateful for the impact they’ve had on our girls!”

We absolutely LOVE the piano instructor, Mrs. Sandy,
“The place is worth every cent! My son has been taking classes for a little over a year and he has gotten the chance to play 2 recitals, he gets to learn at his own pace, he has been recognized as the student of the month in the newsletter and all his recitals are available on YouTube! We absolutely LOVE the piano instructor, Mrs. Sandy, who makes this experience completely worth it! The few times she was unable to make a class, the place provided a substitute in which our son was able to still keep the same routine and there are makeup classes available if there is anytime we aren’t able to make it. 100/100 ratings, I completely recommend this place!”

Rory Dowse Piano Lessons in Phoenix was recommended by a friend. However, we had to visit the studio on a Friday night, as they’re not open on weekends.
Here, you can choose between 60- and 90-minute weekly lessons if you prefer more in-depth sessions. But if you’re quite busy, 30-minute piano lessons are available too.
What’s great about this piano lesson center is that the learning environment is structured yet fun. This actually makes them a perfect fit for kids who struggle with staying focused during lessons (or even those with short attention spans).
We also love that Rory allows kids to pick a song to study and play, which really helps keep them excited and interested.
Additionally, you can also expect them to teach theories and proper techniques. They even teach the kids to become familiar with the various emotions behind the music they listen to.
Encourages students to take a step further
“I have been taking lessons with Rory for several months. He is a patient teacher who considers all aspects of learning the piano as he teaches, ensuring his students are growing their technical skills, expressive performance skills, and their understanding of music theory. He is very encouraging, while also challenging me to step outside of my comfort zone to make progress. He also proactively provides opportunities for his students to play for others to gain performance experience. I would strongly recommend anyone who is interested in learning piano, regardless of their age or experience level, to consider lessons with Rory.”
– Kammy Neitch, Google Review
Known for their light and fun lessons, while keeping them professional
“Rory is an absolutely amazing piano teacher. It takes a lot more than knowing how to do something to be able to teach it to others. I’ve been taking in person lessons with Rory for 6 months. I had several options when I started looking for where to take lessons, and couldn’t be happier with my decision. Rory is 100% patient. He is extremely knowledgeable, and learning from him includes so much more than learning to play the right keys. He keeps the lessons professional, light, and fun all at the same time. I recommend Rory without reservation.”

If you’re looking for a piano lesson center experienced in teaching young students, we highly suggest you try Phoenix Music Lessons. Here, you’re allowed to sit in during classes, perfect for hands-on parents out there.
What’s great about them is that they offer home lessons, which is perfect if you’re also looking for a more convenient setup. We also find home lessons to be less intimidating, an ideal option if you want your kids to ease into piano classes slowly.
But don’t worry—if you prefer your kids to learn in a studio, it’s centrally located, so getting there is just a breeze. They also offer convenient lesson times, including weekend slots.
However, you really have to book weekend piano classes ahead of time, as they still have limited slots during those days.
Nonetheless, booking for a session is just easy. Just message or call their hotline to secure a slot.
Even better, we never had a hard time canceling or rescheduling our sessions with them, which is very convenient for sudden changes in plans.
Convenient location
“I have three children who take piano with Sarah and Aric. It’s only been a couple of months and they are much further along than I ever expected. The location is convenient and you can observe your child’s lesson, which I appreciate. We are very happy and expect to continue lessons for a long time.”

One of the most welcoming piano lesson centers here in Phoenix is Desert Ridge Music Academy. If you’re looking for a studio that has a strong community sense, then this one’s for you.
In fact, one time, we arrived ten minutes past closing hours, yet they still welcomed us in with a smile.
They recently made their facility more spacious, so even on a busy day, you can still find a convenient spot.
What we appreciate about this piano lesson center is that they host free recitals twice a year, giving the kids a chance to build confidence and shine on stage. It also allows the students to show their talents in front of family and friends.
Another thing we love about them is their good pool of substitute teachers. So yes, even when our kids’ current teacher isn’t available, we never really have to worry about training consistency.
We also appreciate that all teachers provide a full report after each session to keep you updated on your kid’s musical progress.
However, classes fill up quickly even on weekdays. We really suggest booking your slots at least two weeks ahead.
Supportive and warm staff
“Our daughter, at age four, started with Miss Morgan Goettl about a year ago. It’s been a remarkably positive experience and Morgan’s teaching (and patience) has definitely motivated her young student to begin to truly appreciate piano and music in general. We feel lucky to have found the very supportive and warm staff at DRMA, as well as the high standard of professionalism with the music instructors across the board.”

Personalized attention
“Incredible incredible incredible: from the amazing energy, to the course and personal attention to my son, I could jot ask for a better place to guide my sons love of music. They deserve 10 stars if possible. They offered a much wider range of private lessons and the owners are actively involved and make everyone feel so welcome!”

We first tried Amazing Mobile Music Instruction after realizing how much easier it would be to have lessons at home. If your schedule’s quite packed or you just don’t feel like driving from point A to B, then they’re a great match for you.
Nonetheless, you can choose to learn the basics at their studio or even online. Their lessons and schedule are quite flexible too, so we really love the convenience offered here at this piano lesson center.
What’s great about them is that their instructors are always punctual, though that also means you’ll need to be ready right on time too. And while they offer structured classes, the teachers still incorporate fun on the side, so learning doesn’t feel repetitive.
In fact, their lessons can still feel more personalized. For kids who might take time to learn, teachers will patiently adjust the pace to match their progress, which we appreciate.
However, since piano lessons are usually one-on-one, students miss out on the friendly competitions from group classes.
Inspires musical growth
“I have been taking lessons with Benjamin for around 2 months now and can confidently say he has helped me greatly develop my piano skills. He really wants to help me understand the “why” behind the music and truly understand the piece, which I really appreciate. I look forward to many more lessons with Benjamin.”

Keeps learning fun
“Ben has been the piano teacher for our daughter for a few years now. It’s been amazing to see her progress and how he adapts his approach to keep her engaged in the lessons each week. And added plus is he comes right to our home which makes it much easier to manage across busy schedules!”

We recently took piano lessons at Scottsdale Studio of Music, and the experience was both inspiring and deeply rewarding. From the first visit, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting—bright, well-equipped studios and a team that genuinely loves teaching. Our instructor was patient, encouraging, and incredibly skilled at tailoring each lesson to our pace and goals. Whether explaining fundamentals or diving into more advanced techniques, they managed to make every concept clear and engaging. We never felt pressured, only motivated to keep improving.
What stood out most was the balance between structure and creativity. Lessons were thoughtfully organized, with clear progress each week, yet there was always room to explore pieces we enjoyed or experiment with different styles. The teacher’s ability to connect theory to real music made practice at home much more meaningful. Even scales and exercises felt purposeful because we understood how they built into the bigger picture of playing expressively.
Beyond the instruction, the studio itself had a sense of community. Other students and families greeted each other warmly, and it was clear that Scottsdale Studio of Music fosters an environment where growth and enjoyment go hand in hand. By the end of our first month, we not only played with more confidence but also rediscovered our love for music. Scottsdale Studio of Music isn’t just a place to learn piano—it’s a place to be inspired, supported, and reminded of the joy that music brings.

We recently enrolled in lessons at Funtimes Music School, and the experience has been nothing short of delightful. From the first contact, their team was friendly, organized, and genuinely excited to help us start (or in our case, return to) learning music. The school itself has a warm, creative energy—bright rooms filled with instruments, laughter, and the sound of students at every level finding their rhythm. It’s clear that this is a place built not just for teaching, but for nurturing a lifelong love of music.
What impressed us most was the quality and personality of the instructors. Each teacher we met combined strong musical expertise with a patient, encouraging approach that made every lesson feel comfortable and inspiring. They took time to understand our goals, tailoring the lessons to our pace and preferred style of learning. Whether practicing technique, theory, or performance skills, we always left each class feeling both challenged and accomplished.

From student showcases to small group jams, there are plenty of opportunities to grow confidence and connect with others who share a passion for music. It’s a supportive, joyful environment that motivates you to keep improving without ever feeling pressured. Funtimes Music School truly lives up to its name—learning here isn’t just educational, it’s fun, personal, and deeply rewarding. We couldn’t recommend it more for anyone wanting to explore or rekindle their musical journey.

We started lessons with SearchHounds — a piano-lessons studio — and we felt from the start that we were in good hands. From the first contact, their team was warm and professional: they asked about our musical background, goals, and what kind of styles we were interested in, which made us feel heard and respected. That initial conversation gave us confidence that they cared more about helping us grow than just filling up slots.
During our first few lessons, the instructors patiently helped us get comfortable with the piano: proper posture, hand placement, and even how to approach reading music. They didn’t rush us into difficult pieces. Instead, they let us build a strong foundation — simple scales, easy songs — and encouraged us to practice at a pace we were comfortable with. Their teaching style felt supportive rather than intimidating, which helped us stay motivated even when we struggled with timing or finger coordination.
As we progressed, we noticed real improvement. Our finger movements grew more confident, we started to recognize patterns on the keyboard, and we could play small melodies more smoothly than we expected after just a few weeks. They also mixed things up — sometimes we worked on technique, other times on songs, sometimes even on music theory — which kept the lessons fresh and balanced.
On top of that, the studio environment felt welcoming. The piano was well-maintained and tuned, the room was quiet and free of distractions, and scheduling was flexible: we could fit lessons around our work and personal life without too much hassle.
If we had to offer constructive feedback, we’d say that occasionally lessons felt a little structured — there wasn’t always time to explore songs outside the syllabus — but that was a small price to pay for steady progress.
In the end, working with SearchHounds felt like joining a community of supportive, patient learners and teachers. We’re glad we started lessons, and we’d recommend them to anyone who wants to learn piano with care and without pressure.

Here, you can also choose their private classes if you want more focused attention or opt for group piano lessons if you prefer learning along with other students.
However, it’s worth noting that some of the group classes can get a bit noisy, especially with younger kids around.
What we love most about this place is that they are very flexible with their schedule. They even allow unlimited rescheduling, so no need to worry about being charged for sudden cancellations.
We also love that they provide piano books for each student, with teachers actively writing customized notes so you can keep track of your kid’s progress. It’s also where they note down songs or pieces they’ve finished learning.
The studio also incorporates a reward-based system, where students earn points for completing challenges during small group competitions.
Meanwhile, for home piano lessons, you’ll love that they allow keyboard rentals. It’s perfect if you’re only in trial mode.
Allows students to play with a small group
“Through social media I came across the piano discovery workshop at Alexa’s Piano Lessons and signed my child up on a whim. She had never played the piano before but was excited to give it a try. Long story short she loved it and we signed her up for lessons. Alexa not only offers one on one lessons with a teacher but also has the lab, which allows the students to learn through play in a small group. She has challenges that are attainable and that the students can earn points to use toward a reward.
My daughter has Brooklynn as her teacher and I could not say enough great things about her. She has truly helped her grow in her abilities and in her overall confidence when it comes to playing the piano. I would highly recommend giving Alexa’s Piano Lessons a try.”

Manages to break down complex techniques
“My daughter had an amazing experience taking piano lessons with Alexa. Her teaching style is both patient and encouraging, making each lesson enjoyable and productive. She tailors lessons to her student’s skill level and goals, breaking down complex techniques into manageable steps. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, I highly recommend Alexa’s Piano Lessons.”
