The 5 Best Team Building & Corporate Event Outing Providers in Phoenix for A-Teams and Good Times

Venue Flexibility: For this list, our team checked which activities can come directly to your conference room and which require a dedicated destination.

Group Capacity: An escape room is useless if half your department has to sit out and wait in the lobby. To avoid that, we checked group-size requirements and venue capacities for both executive retreats and larger corporate offsites.

Participant Engagement: We prioritized ways for teams to participate, from desert driving and charity bike building to flexible spaces for company workshops.

Pricing Transparency: We checked available details on fees and inclusions, along with the extras organizers might need to arrange separately.

A corporate retreat where the main activity is passing a single microphone around a hotel ballroom to share a fun fact is totally boring. And that’s not team building; it’s a hostage situation!

If you want your staff to collaborate instead of checking their watches, you need an activity they’ll actually want to do. To help, our team compared local providers by activity format, group size, and event logistics.

Now, here are the best team-building & corporate event outings in Phoenix, plus must-try outdoor activities to truly explore the city!

How much do corporate event outings cost in Phoenix?

Corporate event outings in Phoenix typically cost $80 to $180 per person, depending on the activity and how much planning is involved.

Departure point: 46639 N Black Canyon Hwy, Suites 7 & 8, New River

A mundane trust-fall workshop is a missed opportunity when the Sonoran Desert is in your backyard.

Desert Wolf Tours puts your remote and distributed teams behind the wheel of military-grade Tomcars. That instantly breaks down corporate silos by forcing coworkers to communicate and navigate through rugged trails together.

Instead of a standard follow-the-leader drive, their Ultimate Team Building Challenge customizes the target games to fit your exact event goals.

Afterwards, your department can rent the Wolf Corral, a private outdoor space with heaters and optional catering, to debrief comfortably without heading to a crowded restaurant.

We spoke with the staff about group rates, and they offer solid discounts if your party has 12 or more people.

The catch is that this challenge takes three to five hours and requires at least eight participants.

Pros

  • Unique military-grade Tomcar driving experience
  • Customized team-building challenges and target games
  • Private outdoor event space available
  • Generous group discount rates

Cons

  • Activities take three to five hours
  • Requires at least eight participants

An award-winning off-road adventure

… From the moment we arrived, our guide, Charles, made the tour exceptional. His expertise and enthusiasm for the Sonoran Desert made the journey educational as well as thrilling. Driving the military-grade Tomcars (often called the “Humvees of the UTV world”) through rugged trails at the base of the Bradshaw Mountains was exhilarating. Charles provided valuable insights into the unique desert landscape and wildlife, creating an experience that was engaging and informative. This tour is ideal for any group looking to bond, learn, and enjoy an award-winning off-road adventure. Highly recommended—thank you, Charles, for an amazing day!

Highly recommend adding this to your list

Came here as a team building event with our company. We did a half-day AM tour and it was absolutely amazing! The guides were absolutely amazing, the weather was nice and the scenery was unbelievable. If you are from out of town or local, would highly recommend adding this to your list!

2. VENTURE UP Team Building – Phoenix

Website: https://ventureup.com/

Address: 1938 E Medlock Dr

Contact: +1 888-305-1065 / [email protected]

Hours: Corporate events are scheduled through advance arrangements

A quarterly kick-off usually means sacrificing interactive games because you can’t transport 500 people easily. VENTURE UP solves that logistical nightmare by bringing problem-solving programs directly to your hotel meeting room or office.

That avoids arranging a transfer for the activity, though travel agencies can still help visiting staff with flights and hotels.

They manage groups ranging from eight to over 1,000 participants, with activities ranging from strategic mazes to charity-focused wagon building.

One standout option lets employees build bicycles for local children, giving everyone a shared goal and a chance to work with colleagues from other departments.

For something more adventurous, the team can also organize an Amazing Race-style scavenger hunt around the city.

However, that scavenger hunt requires navigating outdoor spaces, which limits its appeal if your schedule keeps everyone in a single conference center.

Pros

  • Activities brought directly to your venue
  • Accommodates groups of 8 to 1,000+
  • Hands-on charity builds
  • Wide range of interactive team challenges

Cons

  • Outdoor scavenger hunts require extra space

Hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

AdVenture Games Team Building Phoenix runs a mobile Office Escape program that keeps up to 200 participants engaged in the same venue. This allows you to host an interactive puzzle session directly inside your own boardroom or conference space.

Their facilitators handle game equipment and setup, leaving you free to actually participate instead of playing host.

One colleague who tried their outdoor SpyGame mission shared that the activity involved teams working across the city to solve a simulated kidnapping. They found that the challenge required constant communication and strategic thinking.

For larger events, AdVenture Games Challenge can also be adapted for conference breakout sessions, making it a flexible choice for leadership summits.

However, the outdoor SpyGame can take up to four hours and involves moderate walking, so it may not suit employees with limited mobility.

Pros

  • Mobile activities at your chosen venue
  • Handles groups up to 200 participants
  • Facilitators handle equipment and setup
  • Flexible programs for corporate events

Cons

  • Outdoor SpyGame involves four hours of walking

Having Chad and his team bring us SpyGame was exactly what we needed. Thanks Chad for blowing our minds with icebreakers that aren’t boring, monotonous, awkward and pointless…we actually ARE closer as a team from your unique way to apply our HR needs to the present day. Time to bond and build on our relationships

We had a wonderful experience. It was engaging, fun and close to our hearts. It really gave our team time to bond and build on our relationships as we worked through creating, collaborating and adding our artistic touch with painting the dog houses. I would definitely use possibiliTEAMS again and thoroughly recommend them to run your next team building event.

The space worked well for our group training and business meeting

I spent two days here for a business meeting, and this space was really great. The breakfast was homemade and delicious! I loved the fruit breads and cinnamon rolls they made for us, and the cupcakes for our networking reception in the late afternoon were AMAZING! This was walking distance from downtown Phoenix (staying next to the convention center), and the space worked well for our group training and business meeting for ~120 people.
