5 of Our Favourite Pizza Delivery Services in Phoenix
How We Picked
Ordering System
We tested the process of ordering for convenience and checked if they’re available on major food delivery apps. We also surveyed past customers on the accuracy of the orders upon delivery.
Food Selection
We browsed through their menu for variety in terms of flavors, combos, as well as offers for those with kids or dietary restrictions. The food should also retain a level of quality once delivered (ie. freshly cooked, hot, intact)
Delivery Service
On-time delivery is a non-negotiable since food is best consumed within a specific time frame. Instant updates online or through calls/sms also help customers monitor the status of their orders, so we considered them too.
Pricing
Delivery services entail added charges or commissions, especially through third-party apps. So, we compared prices and payment methods to make sure you’re getting your money’s worth.

Pros
- Ingredients are fresh and handmade daily
- Offers an assortment of authentic Italian cuisine
- Featured countless times on local and national publications
- Build Your Own Pizza promos
- Offers catering services
Cons
- Limited choices on food delivery services
- Rates are relatively higher on the app
- Has only one branch
The Parlor along the Camelback Corridor stands on what used to be a beauty parlor, where the name was borrowed from. The rustic Italian pizzeria is known for its adaptive reuse and repurposed interior elements from the old structure.
But what makes them a popular choice among locals is their freshly made, wood-fired pizzas. It’s no wonder they’re awarded the Best Pizza in Arizona by the Food Network.
They have over ten flavors to choose from that are made in small or large sizes. The Salsiccia is a must-try, served as a thin crust topped with Schreiner’s parlor blend sausage, grilled radicchio, sage, saba, and melted cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
We love that their menu is packed with authentic Italian cuisine that ranges from small servings of Antipasti to vegetarian dishes of Insalata. They also have menus for seasonal dishes, vegan options, and for your little ones.
Ordering is a breeze through DoorDash, which also sends notifications on the status of your order and accepts most payment methods.
However, the app is also known for higher prices on delivery and food because of its markups. It would be great if they were available on other third-party delivery services.
It could also get busy in the kitchen due to high demand so they sometimes hold online orders. It’s best to place orders outside of peak hours from what we’ve observed.

Pros
- Large assortment of pizzas

Cons
- Not a lot of gluten-free options
- No kids’ menu
- Some complaints on inconsistent food quality
Lou Malnati’s is a beloved Chicago-based pizza chain that has branches across four states, with eight locations right here in Arizona. Its history dates back to the 1940s and is considered the oldest family-owned pizzeria in the Windy City.
They’re famous for their deep dish creations that are native to Chicago, which gives them novelty among their peers. We’ve asked around for the crowd favorite, and it seems you can’t go wrong with their iconic Malnati Chicago Classic.
This is made with their signature Buttercrust and sausage, gooey mozzarella cheese, and heaps of tomato sauce. Yum!
If deep dish crust isn’t up your alley, you’re in luck because they also have thin-crust and frozen versions available. To take things up a notch, there are over 20 flavors available where you have the option to build your own pizza.
We like that you can order straight from their website, which is streamlined across all their branches. This means they’ll deliver from the nearest location to your address, which speeds things up.
They’re also available on DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub which is more than we could ask for. Just make sure to specify if you want your pies cut into slices, otherwise, they leave them as is.
The prices vary and are generally average, which makes it easy to work around in terms of budget. We like that they have four sizes for different servings that come in personal, small, medium, and large.
Overall, their service sticks the landing for us – and so do their pies.

Pros
- Offers pizza by the meter
- Available for orders through major food service apps
- Reasonable prices
- Offers a wide assortment of food and beverages for delivery
Cons
- Some reports of cold and inconsistent food quality
- Doesn’t offer customized pizza toppings
- No option for thick crust
Pizza A Metro is a nondescript but friendly neighborhood pizzeria that seats at most 20 people. On the other hand, it has a lot to offer with its authentic Italian menu at astoundingly affordable prices.
For a small and modest place, they don’t skimp on their dishes.
Here, a meter-wide pizza can fit inside their brick oven, which is how they came up with their name. Often a hit with families and large groups, their one-meter-long pizza is truly a spectacle.
For starters, we recommend the drool-inducing Frescolina: a medley of thin slices of prosciutto, mozzarella, tomato sauce, and fresh arugula on top of a crisp thin crust with billowy edges. Sizes are also available in 12 and 16 inches.
Another thing we like is that they’re accessible through popular food service apps such as DoorDash, Grubhub, and Postmates. We recommend ordering through Postmates because it has the most complete menu and cheapest prices.
Although they offer a lot in the area of convenience, we’ve heard of lapses in orders from customers. Some orders arrive cold, which is disappointing.
Still, we don’t entirely count it against them since food delivery via third-party companies is out of their control.
Ultimately, we think they’re a hidden gem in plain sight that offers classics, plus some creative choices in toppings.
4. Federal Pizza

Pros
- Offers catering services
- Have a lot to offer in both pizza and drinks
- Available for orders through major delivery apps
- High-quality and artisanal dishes
- Fast delivery service
Cons
- No gluten-free alternatives for their pan pizzas
- Pizzas are only available in 12 inches
The Federal Pizza is a restoration of what was once the First Federal Bank, a historic structure built in the 1950s. They also have a drive-thru, which we don’t see often.
They’re known to offer beer that perfectly matches your brick-oven pizza of choice – resulting in a perfect pair. We love that their beer and wine menu is also available for delivery, which isn’t common with other pizzerias that only offer them for dine-in.
Moreover, we think this pizza joint shows personality with the choice of names for their pies. A standout among them is the aptly-named Big Star, which is a picture-perfect artisanal delight.
Charred and billowy edges frame a vibrant combination of red and yellow bell peppers, mushrooms, sausage, pepperoni, olives, and onions – all blended with their special sauce.
They’re also no strangers to convenience because you can order across popular food service apps in Phoenix. These include Postmates, Uber Eats, DoorDash, Grubhub, and even their website.
The only thing keeping us from giving them a perfect score is that their pizzas are only available in one size and type of crust. Their pan pizzas are also not available gluten-free, which limits the options.
Despite these, one thing we’re sure of is that they’re a slice of pizza heaven and set the tone for pizza delivery services in the valley.

Pros
- Great gluten-free options
- Multiple locations across Phoenix
- Customizable orders, including base flavors
- Reliable order and delivery process
- Allergy info is available online
Cons
- A bit more expensive compared to others
- Some complaints of cold orders on arrival
Spinato’s Pizzeria and Family Kitchen is a local chain restaurant that is owned and operated by Ken and Elaine Spinato. As an Italian family that moved from Chicago, they made their mark with their first pizzeria in 1974.
Inspired by the family legacy, they eventually expanded to 5 other locations across the Phoenix metro area. They have become one of the city’s mainstays and are even named the Official Pizza of The Phoenix Suns and The Phoenix Mercury.
They have around 14 choices for pizzas of varying sizes and a choice between thin or Sicilian crust. We’ve heard their gluten-free options are just as tasty, which is great news for those with diet restrictions.
We heard that the Mamma Signature pizza isn’t something you should miss out on. This is made with their signature thin crust topped with mozzarella, garlic, Roma tomatoes, spinach, and their secret spice blend.
When it comes to ordering, you can place them through their website or on DoorDash. We’ve heard customers who were told to expect delivery in an hour but arrived 30 minutes early, which is great.
We think it’s better to order from them straight because there’s more room for customization. There are options to add toppings apart from the inclusions and half-and-half pizzas.
All things considered, they hit the mark on variety, order processing, and delivery – making them a top-notch choice for us.
