The Top 5 Notaries in Phoenix

The Top 5 Notaries in Phoenix

How We Picked

Convenience

We surveyed the areas they cover and the types of documents they can execute. We also checked if they can perform remote or mobile services for individuals who aren’t able to visit a notary themselves.

Ease of Communication

Having a document notarized often comes with a sense of urgency. We prefer professionals who emphasize being available to their clients, especially for follow-ups or corrections.

Qualifications

It’s important that the notary is an association member and has a good standing in the Arizona Secretary of State, among other things. They should also be proficient in notarizing documents

Fees

We checked if their rates correspond to the limit issued by the state, but also considered convenience costs, particularly for mobile notaries.

Pros

  • Member of the American Association of Notaries
  • Team of reputable agents
  • Specializes in loan signing
  • Offers RON for US citizens outside of the country

Cons

  • Does not have an office for on-site services
  • Opens a bit later compared to other firms

Arizona Mobile Notary Services was founded by Reenie Gentile in 2011, after taking a 30-year break from being a notary.

According to Reenie, it was an unfortunate incident concerning her mother that prompted her to pursue the practice. Her mother needed to get some health and financial documents signed, but couldn’t because she was bedridden.

We love that the business was built from the need to serve clients who can’t readily access these on-demand services. As such, they offer both mobile and remote online notarizations to provide a convenience that is inclusive for all.

In terms of their certifications and status, they’re in good standing with the Arizona Secretary of State and active Association Members. You can expect them to know their stuff and guide you through the process.

They cover the whole Phoenix metro area and most of Maricopa County, which is extensive. This eliminates the need to check if they’re available in your locale.

From what we’ve heard, clients appreciate their can-do approach and flexibility, especially those with urgent needs. This is helpful if you find yourself in a bind, especially with time.

They’re also thorough with the info needed on the documents, which is important because documents rely on accurate information. We’ve heard they’re patient in educating their clients when it comes to the documents, which is helpful.

Just note that they open a bit later than other firms, and that they don’t have an on-site office.

Overall, going the extra mile in more ways than one makes our verdict favorable toward this service. We especially recommend them for those with special needs.

  • Bilingual services (Spanish)
  • Certified Notary Signing Agent

Cons

  • Inconsistent operating hours
  • Does not specialize in remote services

Prestige Notary Services LLC offers quick and easy notarization and fingerprinting services for Phoenix and all of Maricopa county.  The firm was established by Tanya Wilson, who is a certified notary, officiant, and paralegal all rolled into one.

Although her business has only been up for 3 years, we think that Tanya’s experience in paralegal matters and immigration services makes for a unique approach in the way she manages things.

We love that her company offers bilingual services to cater to Arizona’s predominant populace which includes Hispanics or Latinos. On top of this, she’s also a recipient of a Minority Business Enterprise Owner (MBE) Certification.

Her clients often speak about her friendly, accommodating, and conscientious attitude when performing her duties. She’s also lenient with her schedule, meeting clients who need to sign paperwork outside of her hours.

Another thing we like is that she’s not picky with her clients. Among these was a proxy who needed the power of attorney for someone incarcerated in the local jail.

As far as we’re concerned, she checks all the boxes except one. She doesn’t currently offer or specializes in remote online notarizations, which is something to consider.

Despite this, we think someone of her caliber is deserving of a spot on this list. We’re also fans of her business which welcomes individuals from all walks of life, regardless of their group or background.

Assured Notary Services is a team of certified signing agents formed by Mike Howard, who is the principal notary.

According to Mike, his business started with a great personal experience with a notary. He and his wife just bought their first home and the loan signing agent was able to give them peace of mind with a seemingly complex ordeal.

Suffice it to say that it had an impact on the way he runs his service. We were initially impressed because they gathered the most online reviews, with 5 stars across different sites.

We weren’t let down because the company was built on the best practices with their secure, trustworthy, and smooth sailing processes. Each agent is also background-checked and certified by the National Notary Association.

It seems they’re dedicated to giving swift and efficient service based on customer accounts. We also like that they don’t compromise on the quality and precision that comes with reviewing and signing documents.

We’ve heard they’re quick to set an appointment with and take the time to explain things in a way you’ll understand. We find that customers appreciate that they’re made aware of the technical aspects of their documents.

Living up to their title, you can be assured and at ease with them because your documents are in good hands. The only downside is that their mobile services are only available in the East Valley.

AZ Notary Services serves the whole Maricopa County and is owned and operated by Kim Horton. They have been in the business since 2016 as a full-service crew of certified notaries.

Before entering the business, Kim spent years in real estate and has gained valuable experience in customer service. Her clients attest to this, saying that she goes above and beyond what is expected and accomplishes tasks efficiently.

On one occasion, she was hired to notarize 50 documents for one client, which we imagine is a hectic undertaking. It seems she’s a sharpshooter because she was able to accurately prepare the documents in time for the scheduled shipment.

When she’s out in the field with her team, we like that they always come prepared and have the client’s health and safety in mind. They always procure well-prepared paperwork and clean materials used for signing.

If a home visit isn’t something you’d prefer, they’ll happily oblige to meet somewhere else. You can expect them to arrive promptly based on what their clients say.

They’re also willing to accommodate last-minute and same-day notarizations. We appreciate that they do this with a sense of urgency that matches the client’s.

The rates aren’t indicated on their website, as prices will depend on the number of pages and your location – but we’ve heard they’re reasonable.

  • Relatively young business

Desert Palms Notary LLC is led by Arnetti Morris, a mobile notary and loan signing agent who only started in 2019. Despite this, she has countless satisfied clients across the valley because of her approach and level of professionalism.

It comes as no surprise that she’s certified by the National Notary Association, Pavaso, and Notary2Pro. This multi-certification ensures that you’re getting services from a highly reputable source.

Furthermore, Arnetti can sign a wide range of documents such as Power of Attorney, Last Will & Testament, and Real Estate Closing documents. She’s particularly adept with Apostille and Loan signing.

She’s also a sweet and personable lady from what we’ve heard. To take things up a notch, she prides herself in being a public servant that a lot of clients bear witness to.

Clients describe the experience of working with her as though they were VIPs, which we also appreciate. This manifests in her prompt responses and arrival, as well as her willingness to meet at any time or place at your convenience.

Similarly, she also accommodates appointments 24/7 for emergency notaries. We’ve seen satisfied clients who called her on Sundays and after hours, particularly those who needed to sign healthcare papers.

We think she’s the pick of the bunch for all-around excellent service. Just make sure to call about quotations first because they’re not indicated on her website.
