5 Best Places to Get Blinds in Phoenix
How We Chose the Best Blinds in Phoenix
Scope of Selection
We looked into not just the number of blinds brands offered but the variety of their designs and style options as well.
Quality
We also considered the quality of their products. This is a nonnegotiable for us, as we feel that this would save clients big bucks in the long run.
Rates
We also took into account how reasonable their prices were based on service inclusions.
Customer Service
We looked into the professionalism, responsiveness, and attentiveness of the company. We just really find it nice to work with equally nice people.

Pros
- Has been around for over 30 years
- Expansive selection of blinds in various types and styles
- Able to get you good warranty deals
Cons
- Quality is just okay
- Not as responsive to clients
- Closed on weekends
Budget Blinds of East and North Phoenix has been around for 30 years. Since then, they have dressed over 25,000,000 windows and served tens of thousands of clients.
Property owners across the valley come to them for affordable window treatments, particularly blinds.
They have a wide selection of blinds in real and faux wood, Venetian, horizontal and vertical, and even fabric and motorized. What we really love, though, is their style and design catalog.
They’re backed by the largest provider of custom window covers in North America, which is why they have an extensive selection of blinds to choose from. Seriously, walls and walls of it!
This is also why they’re able to price their products so low. And they’re able to get you good warranty terms.
Don’t expect too much of the quality, though. They’re not subpar, but they’re not the best ones out there either.
We also love that they’re a locally owned company. We appreciate that they regularly give back in support of the local communities.
However, there have been reviews saying that they could work on customer service. Apparently, they’re not as responsive as clients hoped they’d be.
All things considered, we still think they’d be a solid choice.

Pros
- Services residential, commercial, and multi-family properties
- Has a reputation for good customer service
- Wide selection of blinds styles and designs
- Open daily
Cons
- Blinds are limited to Alta and Norman brands
- Selection of blind materials aren’t as encompassing as others
All Good Shutter and Blind has been in business for just a little over seven years, and yet they’re rapidly making a name for themselves in the industry.
To begin with, they service residential, commercial, and multi-family properties. They’re very flexible and are able to accommodate whatever window treatment you may need.
When it comes to blinds, they offer top-rated brands Alta and Norman. Though quite limited to just these, the selections in terms of style are quite generous.
They’re able to provide wood blinds, faux wood blinds, aluminum blinds, mini blinds, vinyl blinds, and vertical blinds. This selection isn’t as encompassing as others but still sufficient for what most clients need.
From what we’ve heard, the owner, Linda, is very hands-on with her business. She meets the clients herself, does the presentations, and walks them through the entire process efficiently.
Apparently, she’s a sweet lady who’s incredibly friendly and makes clients feel understood. Naturally, every client will have different window treatment needs due to the variety of properties, sun shade requirements, and style preferences.
The same is typically said of her associates. It seems that her team shows up promptly to appointments, gives sound advice, and keeps clients updated on the blinds install.
We’re big fans of good customer service, so we tip our hats off to them.

Pros
- Has been around since 2005
- Known for top-notch quality of their blinds
- Provides excellent customer service
Cons
- Limited brands and build types of blinds offered
- Relatively more expensive rates
- Closed on Sundays
Elite Shutters and Blinds has been in the valley since 2005. They have since built several locations across Arizona and continue to see growth in their business.
What they’re known for are, well, elite blinds. Their suppliers are top-quality manufacturers such as Hunter Douglas, Graber, and Norman—all of which come with hefty price tags.
So if you’re not really tight on budget, you may find them a good choice. Exceptional quality is what you’re paying for, after all.
Another downside is that their blinds selection is quite limited. They only provide vertical, wood, and metal blinds.
This isn’t a problem to some, as these are typically the most common ones that people go for. Still, we hope they’d expand their line.
Their main edge lies in the quality of their customer service. They’re recommended for a few good reasons, including staff attentiveness, technician expertise, and professionalism.
It seems that they’re knowledgeable about design elements that clients normally wouldn’t think to consider. These include sunlight entry at certain times of the year and lighting fixtures.
We love that they’re super responsive as well. They get back to clients within minutes or at least the same hour—a client-forward trait that often gets overlooked by similar companies.

Pros
- Has been in business for over 25 years
- Wide selection of blinds in various materials, styles, and budget
- Specializes in wood blinds
Cons
- Inconsistent quality in different types of blinds
- Closed on Sundays
Arizona Blinds Express is a family-owned, local company that’s been around for over 25 years. They’re well-known around the valley and is among the most recommended window treatment providers.
What clients love about them is the wide selection of blinds, not just in materials used and styles but in budget assortment as well.
Wood blinds seem to be their specialty. Theirs come as multiple blinds on one headrail and are moisture-resistant.
However, we’ve heard that not all blinds are the best in terms of quality. It seems that they have an inconsistent selection—again, not bad, just not the best.
They’ve partnered with several Arizona manufacturers and installers, so clients can have their pick among thousands of styles, textures, colors, and designs.
Even more helpful are their expert staff members who are known to guide clients in choosing the best ones. They base this on the clients’ styles, budgets, and lifestyles.
Even their install crews are as efficient and attentive. They show up promptly, measure twice (to avoid dimension mistakes), and proceed to install without hiccups or issues.
Bill, in particular, is often mentioned to be extremely professional, respectful, and courteous. He makes sure that the client is well-informed of the job that needs to be done.

Pros
- Has been in business since 1946
- Known for custom wood, metal, and vertical blinds
- Top-notch quality of window treatments
- Open daily
Cons
- Only offers limited lifetime warranties
- Limited options when it comes to materials of blinds
When it comes to years of experience, The Shade Store has that in spades. They’ve been offering custom window treatments across the valley since 1946!
Today, they’re a well-known provider of custom blinds, shades, and drapes. They make the process so easy, too—starting from their free design consultation, quick price quote, measurement, and installation.
What we like about them is how considerate they are to clients. If you get the measurements slightly off or change your mind when it comes to the design, they’ll work with you and help you find a solution.
They also provide limited lifetime warranties to their products. It’s not as full-coverage as we’d like, but it’s still better than nothing.
What helps is knowing that they’re providing you with good quality window treatments. They stand by the craftsmanship of their products, and most clients seem to agree that they’re well worth the splurge.
When it comes to blinds, they offer wood, metal, and vertical ones. Again, these choices aren’t as numerous as others, but it’s really the quality that you’re after.
From what we’ve heard, their customer service is exceptional as well. It seems that their staff members are accommodating, friendly, and quick to respond to client inquiries and queries.
