The 6 Best Real Estate Lawyers in Phoenix
How we picked
Qualifications
The attorney must be licensed to practice and is a member of relevant bar associations. Through their legal experience, we assessed their proficiency in representing clients.
Scope of Practice
We looked for lawyers who can represent either buyer or seller in the sale of a property. It also helps if they handle foreclosures and disputes to cater to a wider range of cases related to real estate law.
Comfort Level
Info must be conveyed to clients in a simple manner that can be easily understood. We also considered how they present themselves in meetings to build healthy attorney-client relationships.
Fee Structure
We prefer those who are transparent with the breakdown of fees at the onset. This will help clients determine if they will fit their budget and eliminate confusing and hidden fees.

Pros
- Recipient of an AV designation
- Rated A+ and accredited by the BBB
- Offers free initial consultations
- Forthcoming and prompt communication
- Highly-invested and well-researched
- Almost 50 years as a practicing law firm
Cons
- Few reports of non-transparency with fees
- Domain is limited within the metro area
For nearly 50 years, Platt & Westby, P.C. has been serving locals around the valley. They specialize in real estate, probate, and estate planning among others from six locations as of speaking.
The group is presided over by a trio of staunch and accomplished attorneys, each with a unique line of expertise. One thing that binds them together is a standard proficiency in real estate law.
We love that they offer initial conferences at no charge for as long as they have existed. They apparently don’t cut corners and help clients closely examine their cases with a substantial discussion.
This has earned them a 4.8 AV Rating, a highly coveted designation that recognizes lawyers who maintain excellent ethical standards and professionalism.
One of their clients who hired them for both a real estate and estate planning case recalled how they gave undivided attention and sound advice all throughout. They also encourage questions and don’t rush meetings until it was deemed sufficient.
On the other hand, there were a few occasions where clients were not well-informed about the costs entailed by other services, which caught them off guard.
We wish they were also communicative with their pricing structure so clients can come financially prepared.
Among those they represent are HOAs, buyers, sellers, and even borrowers and lenders. They’re also reliable for litigation cases and have won their recent case in representing a homeowner against the HOA in the Arizona Supreme Court.
Unfortunately, they’re only amenable to travel within Phoenix and have turned down some clients from other areas like Tucson, which is understandable.

Pros
- Specializes in real estate law
- Very strategic and detail-oriented
- Consistently won multiple cases involving real estate litigations
- Offers reasonable rates
- Offers a wealth of information on real estate investment
- Active members of the State Bar of Arizona and the US District Court
Cons
- No ready info on court representation experience
- Few complaints on unreverted phone calls
The eponymous law firm founded by Andrew Fowler and Sean St. Clair offers a collaborative approach in resolving legal matters. Among these concerns involve real estate transactions, title remediation, disputes, and distressed properties.
Both lawyers have extensive experience in real estate with clients that run the gamut from banks to tenants. They also actively run a podcast geared towards real estate investors, which is informative on industry trends.
Fowler specializes in real estate and claims to have great knowledge of Arizona’s business landscape. St. Clair in particular has cultivated a niche in representing real estate investors and has graduated with Latin honors in both political science and law.
It’s worth noting that he also founded a non-profit that provides legal protection for those wrongfully incarcerated in Malawi, Africa.
Their credentials are anything but lip service because of the number of cases won and several satisfied clients we’ve heard from. Some have even retained them because of their commitment to achieving positive results and establishing strong relationships.
We like that they regularly update clients and distill info in layman’s terms, making sure to keep them involved in every step. A client of theirs faced two different real estate disputes back-to-back but came out successful with their because of them.
We only wished that they kept a record of their representation experience for reference. A few prospects have also slipped through the cracks and were met with no response over the phone, but this isn’t a usual occurrence from what we’ve seen.
Ultimately, we think they’re probably the best in the valley given that they’re trustworthy and well-rounded, with a track record that speaks for itself.

Pros
- Certified Real Estate Experts by the State Bar of Arizona
- AV Preeminent peer rated lawyers
- Extensive track record of representative cases
- Genuine and personable team of lawyers
- Partners with several non-profits in providing services to the less fortunate
Cons
- Expensive consultation and retainer fees
- Lacks the sense of urgency for some
Established in 2015, Provident Law is a full-service law firm with special attention to real estate cases. They hold themselves to a standard of excellence and high moral character in establishing trust with their clients.
We were bowled over upon learning that they boast a combined experience of 250 years in practice. Most of the lawyers in their group have a background in real estate law, which expands their knowledge base even more.
As a result, clients are more confident that at least one person in the firm has handled a case like theirs. Impersonal communication is a foreign concept in their book, but instead, they adopt a highly individualized and results-based approach.
For instance, a client of theirs was in a bind in purchasing a property that required the procurement of rare documents. This was apparently done in record time and in a cost-conscientious manner, which lives up to their name.
Another thing we like is that each of them has a detailed profile on their website describing their credentials and representative cases.
Christopher J. Charles, one of their leading attorneys, has valuable experience in representing property owners in real estate litigation. On top of that, he was awarded an AV Preeminent, which is the highest possible rating in the profession.
However, we heard that initial consultations could cost as much as $300 per hour, which seemed exorbitant for some. There were also some complaints from clients where the lawyer lacks a sense of urgency in their response times, which could be frustrating.
We hope to see an improvement in these cases; otherwise, we think their attorneys are some of the most experienced ones we’ve seen around.

Pros
- Certified in Real Estate by the State Bar of Arizona
- 4 decades as a practicing law firm
- Designated with an AV Preeminent rating
- Recognized as west valley’s most trusted law firm
- Attentive and efficient with the given timeline
Cons
- Fees tend to be more expensive
- Doesn’t honor the free consultations according to some
Faith, Ledyard & Faith, PLC is recognized as the largest law firm in the west valley for 40 years and counting. According to them, the practice is founded on superior service in advocating for clients.
It began as a boutique firm specializing in real estate and construction in 1979. As the roster of attorneys grew in number, they eventually became a full-service practice that extends to the likes of criminal and governmental law.
The group consists of certified specialists in real estate and AV Preeminent lawyers to boot. Paul J. Faith, the firm’s founder, has an extensive background in real estate among other things and has won multiple accolades throughout his career.
He may seem familiar to some, but that’s because he’s the vice mayor of Litchfield Park. His son and managing partner, Michael Faith, also gravitated toward the same industry and has valuable experience as a real estate agent, investor, and attorney.
One thing we like about them is their efforts in providing legal assistance with transparent and reasonable fees. They also offer free consultations in most cases.
However, some find that this doesn’t apply as advertised, and fees tend to fall on the higher end of the spectrum from what we’ve heard. Still, we think clients get what they pay for based on the level of service and success rates.
Still, we think their vast knowledge of Arizona’s real estate and business climate has proven valuable in representing countless clients, making them a solid choice.
5. Cronus Law, PLLC

Pros
- Consists of AV Preeminent attorneys
- Willing to serve farther areas surrounding Phoenix
- Straightforward and no-nonsense approach
- Punctual and responsive throughout the process
Cons
- Relatively young firm
- Has only one lawyer specializing in real estate law
- Paid consultations over the phone is inadequate for some
Cronus Law is a full-service law firm that commits itself to a consistent standard of legal counsel in and out of the courtroom. Although they formed in 2015, the attorneys already have decades of experience behind them.
Besides that, they were recently awarded an AV Preeminent rating as a firm for providing ethical and professional legal services in a broad scope of practice.
Although they focus on personal injury and civil litigation, each member has a unique industry background so they can handle cases from real estate to cannabis law.
Yasha Pawa, the group’s founder and only designated real estate attorney, launched the practice fresh out of law school. His goal was to develop a client-oriented structure that addressed the common mistakes made by traditional law firm models.
It seems he’s particularly skilled with disputes between landlord and tenant and does it effectively and efficiently from what we heard. With a pragmatic approach, he has reportedly saved clients a lot of time and money in real estate purchases.
A couple of them hail as far as Tucson and had a hard time looking for legal help closer to home, but the firm willingly took on their cases. If you’re in a similar situation, we think it’s worth dropping them a line.
On the other hand, we think there’s room for improvement in terms of phone correspondence. A number of prospects calling for an initial consult were disappointed with the call ending before the time limit.
In these instances, we hope the firm would apply its goal of providing excellent service remotely as much as they do in person.

Pros
- 25+ years of experience
- Responds to queries in detail
Cons
- Closed on weekends
Anthony Law Group has over 25 years of legal experience. They have handled many types of legal transactions for many matters.
Mr. Anthony aggressively advocates on behalf of clients in litigation matters involving a wide variety of business, real estate, and construction issues. To know more about him, you can read it here.
Unlike other lawyers, Mr. Anthony is more than capable of providing several options to resolve your issue from a legal perspective and can also give numerous advise on possible outcomes.
If you compare them to big law firms, they are pretty small, but do not take this as something negative. With a small firm, they get top focus more on their clients
We prefer them because they give absolute personal attention to every matter. While a big firm is likely to hand off your file to multiple staff members, you can take confidence in the fact that they will work on your matter from beginning to end.
