Traveling with pets? Desert’s Edge RV Park is like a five-star resort for both you and your furry friends. They’ve got dedicated dog parks, pet washing stations, and even pet-friendly events. My dog had as much fun as I did, which isn’t always easy to find in RV parks.

The whole place is spotless, and the vibe is laid-back and friendly. It’s the kind of park where people remember your name and your pet’s too!

Cons

  • Pet areas can get crowded

“We stayed here multiple times now for weeks at a time. Very nice Campground still maintained well a little under new ownership. Super pet friendly Park. No cable TV but I’m not one to miss TV much while we’re traveling in the camper so that’s not really a negative for me.”

If big, crowded RV resorts aren’t your thing, Covered Wagon RV Park is the perfect alternative. It’s got that small-park charm where everyone knows each other, and the vibe is super laid-back.

I loved how it felt more like a little neighborhood than an RV park. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the park is well-maintained. Plus, it’s in a convenient spot if you want to explore Phoenix but still come back to a quiet, cozy place.

The only thing? The sites are on the smaller side, so if you’ve got a big rig, it might be a tight fit. But for smaller setups, it’s perfect.

Pros

  • Cozy, community-focused park
  • Friendly staff and laid-back vibe
  • Convenient location

Cons

  • Smaller sites may not fit big rigs

“This RV park has been great experience with the help of Jazmine the front office assistant. The park offers public bathrooms- mini laundry mat- and a pool! The life of this RV park is not like others because they have enjoyable grassy areas and fruit trees all around the park for the visitors rather than a boring dirt and rock lot! We love living here and recommend to those searching!.”

The atmosphere here is super friendly. I met plenty of fellow travelers, and there’s always someone to chat with around the campfire. Plus, being in Quincy means you’re surrounded by beautiful nature great for hiking, fishing, or just soaking up the scenery.

“We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 month stay at Pioneer RV Park.   Staff is friendly and helpful, we had great neighbors,  Park is clean and well maintained and the location in North Phoenix is great.   Out of the hustle and bustle with beautiful desert views but close enough to shopping and dining.   Will be back next year for a longer stay.”
