The business started in late 2015, but the crew itself has 20 years’ worth of trade experience. With their lineup of services, we think they’re a great choice for those who are looking to update their bathrooms in terms of finishes and safety features.

In terms of refinishing, among the materials in their scope are laminates, plastic, tile, and cultured marble. They also do the usual fiberglass, porcelain, and acrylic bathtubs.

If that’s not enough to stop you in your tracks, they’re also the largest company in terms of home restoration services. We weren’t let down by the exhaustive inventory of finishes for ceramic tiles, countertops, and bathtubs either.

Clients can choose over two of their branches in Chandler and Tempe, both with excellent reviews from their patrons.

That said, their track record isn’t exactly spotless. With a company their size and clientele, a few mishaps and miscommunications can occur based on our observation.

For one, a few jobs didn’t quite hit the mark and left the customer with noticeable imperfections with the finish. A couple of customers have also reported lapses with scheduling, which resulted in delays and unexpected visits.

To their credit, these things don’t happen very often, and they seem apologetic when a customer voices their concerns.

Their rates are also more expensive compared to others, but only because they use high-tech materials like acrylic resins and MM-4 bonding agents. The result is a pristine-looking bathtub and tiles that give brand-new tubs a run for their money.

Ultimately, they’re one of the most trusted providers of refinishing services, and they have over 40 years and thousands of satisfied customers to speak for them.

Premium Surface Refinishing LLC, a local and owner-operated business, is a relatively new but upcoming contender. Despite being a small team of only two specialists, they’re a fully licensed and insured company for 5 years now.

They focus entirely on refinishing, which includes vanities, countertops, bathtubs, showers, and even cabinets. If your bathroom or kitchen needs a fresh look on the surface level, they’re a pretty solid choice for us.

It’s worth mentioning that they have over 30 colors to choose from for countertops and vanities, which we think is worth looking at. They also apparently go above expectations in terms of color matching the finish from what we’ve heard.

A good amount of the work that they’ve done is in kitchens, but their bathtub refinishing skills are also something to write about. Most of their clients have hired them out of word-of-mouth referrals, and for good reason.

A lot of mentions go out to Edith and Yonathan for the fast but thorough work that comes at a reasonable price. They’re also capable of grab bar installations and walk-in tub conversions basing off on their portfolio.

Like their clients, we like that they’re transparent with every step of the process and aftercare maintenance. Being a small team, it may be more likely to run into some issues with availability.
