On the first encounter, we heard they’re very accommodating with answering questions and don’t enforce sales. They also offer tours to their showroom – something we don’t see often – so that potential clients could have a grasp of their capabilities.

Speaking of, we appreciate their can-do attitude when it comes to challenges. 

One of their customers who needed refacing on their 1960s kitchen had outdated provisions for a new range hood. They resolved this by relocating it to another spot without compromising the functionality of the kitchen layout and timeline.

On the other hand, some have encountered lapses in the quality of workmanship. Over a short period since installation, the cabinets have shown signs of peeling and deterioration.

To our regret, they didn’t appear keen on offering solutions without charging extra based on customers’ experience. Unless they honor their labor guarantee, this may discourage customers from using their business.

Similarly, they clean up well afterward and leave no trace, which is further proof to us that they live up to their name. Unfortunately, it seems they don’t offer any payment plans, which might turn away budget-conscious clients.

Granite Transformations of North Phoenix is an independently-owned and -operated franchise that focuses on home renovations, particularly for kitchens and bathrooms. They also accommodate commercial spaces with their full-service remodeling.

Since its establishment in 1999, the company has become one of the most trusted contractors serving the valley. They’re also certified by the National Sanitation Foundation and U.S. Green Building Council, reinforcing their business.

When it comes to cabinet refacing, we find that their visualizer tool significantly helps in coming up with a design approach for your space. This also allows potential clients to view their catalog of materials and finishes.

They currently have five different door styles and twelve colors to choose from, ranging from wood grains and solid colors. 

Although the choices are limited, the construction is seamless with hidden hardware and the use of sturdy materials, from what we’ve seen.

On the other hand, customers have recounted good experiences from sales consultation to installation. We heard they’re firm with deadlines and remained in contact with the clients throughout the whole process.

However, some clients have apparently slipped through the cracks, having encountered problems with correspondence after the initial meeting. There were also complaints about poor follow-up services with the warranty on damaged products.

Their team is quite small, with only around ten members including the owner, but they’re a well-oiled machine nonetheless. According to their clients, their craftsmen are prompt, conscientious, and respectful of your space.

The only concern we have with this is that they may not be able to accommodate as many projects at once.

Nonetheless, we heard a lot of shining reviews on their work ethic and commitment to high-quality products, which shows in their projects.

One of their clients hired them to work on a bookcase that occupied a whole office wall. The finished product was a cohesive cluster of glass shelves and cabinets of a dark and rich wood grain, which complemented the whole space.

On top of that, they also offered to match some hall cabinets as this would further amp up the office  – and for a great price. They’re reliable to perform work on other parts of your home besides the kitchen, which we prefer.

Another thing we like about them is that they offer a 1-hour free consultation that comes with an estimate, which can be done in person. Like their customers, we appreciate their responsiveness and ability to work within the time and budget agreed upon.

Their well-rounded service earns them a spot on our list, not to mention the exceptional work they have done with homes which you can browse through their portfolio. Though, keep in mind that they have the weekends off.

Like their clients, we appreciate their willingness to take on any project and their versatility with any style preference you can think of. They’re also amenable regardless of the size of the project.

The process of updating your space is no picnic, but based on their clientele, working with them is stress-free and seamless from start to finish. Special mentions go out to Eric for the well-rounded management and constant updates.

That said, it seems that this company doesn’t offer warranties on their service, which can be a bit unnerving. They also don’t offer free estimates, which might turn off clients who are at the canvassing stage.

For us, they have proven to be one of the best in the valley with their quality products, excellent customer service, and expert skills in fabrication and installation.
